Focusing on the cultivation of students’ Key competency is a new requirement of the educational reform in the new era and the construction of an education system for the comprehensive development of students’ morality,intelligence,physique,beauty,and labor.The new curriculum reform advocates curriculum design guided by Key competency,with curriculum as the carrier to help truly implement Key competency and promote the comprehensive development of students.Disciplinary characteristic curriculum design focuses on the personalized development of students,and establishing a scientific and high-quality disciplinary characteristic curriculum system for students is a practical issue that needs to be addressed urgently in this field.This study focuses on Key competency oriented curriculum design with discipline characteristics,providing reference for the implementation of Key competency,providing ideas for scientific and high-quality Key competency oriented curriculum design with discipline characteristics,and meeting the needs of students’ comprehensive and personalized development.This study is divided into the following six parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly discusses the background of the topic,research significance,research status,core concepts,theoretical basis,research design,and other content.The second part is the analysis of the curriculum design orientation of Key competency.Based on relevant theoretical research,it deeply analyzes the curriculum design orientation of Key competency,and grasps the basic direction of curriculum design of Key competency orientation.The third part is the theoretical discussion of Key competency oriented curriculum design with discipline characteristics.This article mainly discusses the connotation,value,basic principles,and other aspects of Key competency oriented curriculum design with discipline characteristics.The fourth part is the construction of operational methods for Key competency oriented curriculum design with discipline characteristics.By determining the basic operating procedures,specific operational methods are analyzed in accordance with the six links of course theme determination,concept extraction,goal design,content design,implementation,and evaluation design.Among them,SWOT analysis can be used to analyze the school curriculum design environment when determining the curriculum theme;The extraction of curriculum concepts can be carried out through five element analysis and four extraction steps;The design of curriculum objectives should focus on achieving goals at different levels,ultimately promoting the formation of correct values,essential qualities,and key abilities for students;In the design of curriculum content,comprehensively select the source of curriculum content,and scientifically use two integrated curriculum content organization methods: "spiral telescope type" and "spiral kaleidoscope type";In terms of curriculum implementation,the basic curriculum implementation path is based on basic courses,expanded courses,and research courses,and subject learning is carried out through three different teaching methods: problembased,thematic,and project-based;In curriculum evaluation,students,teachers,and courses are evaluated in a variety of ways to promote the development of students’ Key competency.The fifth part is a case study of Key competency oriented curriculum design with discipline characteristics.This study takes a primary school as a practice base,based on the actual situation of a primary school,and based on the basic operating methods constructed in Part IV,carries out the design of a Key competency oriented primary school math culture curriculum.Through the implementation of the "Huarong Dao" curriculum,it further reflects on the implementation effect of the curriculum,and draws relevant conclusions.The sixth part is a summary and reflection section,which includes research conclusions,research reflections,and research prospects.It is expected that this study will provide some reflections on the future direction of research related to Key competency oriented subject characteristic curriculum design.
