The quality of basic education in ethnic areas has always been of great concern to experts,scholars and the general public,and in recent years,education in ethnic areas in China has strived to change lanes and pursue high-quality development.“Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” provides the foundation for ethnic students to enter the elementary school,and the learning environment of ethnic students at the elementary school stage has ushered in a new pattern,new opportunities and new challenges,which are issues worthy of our attention.This paper conducts a study on the study habits of ethnic students in elementary school,which can deepen the research on the current situation of ethnic students’ study habits and provide countermeasures reference for teachers and schools to cultivate students’ good study habits.This study takes three elementary school in P County,Liangshan Prefecture,as an example to understand the current situation of “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” and learning habits of ethnic students in elementary school,to investigate the impact of“Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” on students’ learning habits,and to propose relevant countermeasures and suggestions from a management perspective in response to the problems found in the study.Students and teachers in three elementary school in P County,Liangshan Prefecture were used as the subjects of this study.The questionnaire method was used to understand more comprehensively the situation and characteristics of students’ participation in preschool learning Mandarin,including the percentage of students participating,the effect of students’ preschool Mandarin education,students’ attitude toward learning Mandarin,and the current situation of students’ learning habits.Using statistical methods,we analyzed the influence of preschool Mandarin education popularization on the learning habits of ethnic students in elementary school from the perspectives of whether they participated in “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action”and the effect of “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” popularization.The interview method was used to comprehensively understand the impact of “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” on the dimensions of students’ learning habits and the environment for cultivating learning habits,as well as some views and opinions of teachers on this issue,and concludes with responses and recommendations.Based on the findings,macroscopically,the mean value of learning habits of students who had participated in “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” was significantly higher than those who had not participated in“Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action”,and the better the effect of “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” on students,the better their performance in learning habits at the elementary school level.In view of the problems and causes of students’ learning habits,this study proposes the following recommendations for the cultivation of good learning habits of preschool and universal elementary school ethnic students: refine the teaching management process to cultivate students’ good learning habits;optimize the school system management and establish a unified cultivation mechanism;improve teachers’ management ability and cultivate teachers’ professionalism;encourage parents’ participation in education and cultivate parents’ active awareness;improve the system system of “Pre-school Learning Putonghua Action” and popularization to promote students’ multi-dimensional development;hold the baton of preschool learning and popularization firmly and do education with temperature.
