In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the CPC,it is clearly proposed to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,develop students’ core qualities,and train students to become new talents needed by the society.Therefore,the cultivation of students’ core literacy has become the focus of the education circle,and the core literacy of physical education discipline is the embodiment of core literacy in the field of physical education,which can promote the cultivation of all-round development of talents.The main goals of the sports education mode are to cultivate the students to be able,literate and enthusiastic people,which coincides with the core literacy concepts of the sports disciplines in our country.Moreover,the sports education mode itself is highly operable.Applying this mode to the volleyball teaching in the college can break the shortcoming of the traditional teaching method and promote the cultivating of the core literacy of the sports disciplines.Objective: To compare the effects of sports education on physical fitness,volleyball skills,team cohesion,learning interest and social adaptability of college students before and after adopting sports education model in volleyball teaching.Compare the differences between the two teaching modes on college students’ physical fitness,volleyball skills,team cohesion,learning interest and social adaptability;This paper probes into whether the sports education mode is beneficial to improve the core literacy of the students’ physical education discipline,and provides a new way to reform the physical education curriculum in Chinese universities.Research methods: In this study,literature,expert interview,questionnaire,experiment,mathematical statistics and other research methods were adopted.Students from Class 1 and Class 2 of 2020 Volleyball general Training major of Capital University of Physical Education were selected as experimental objects.Relevant literature was studied before the experiment.Based on expert advice,the teaching content,teaching process,the selection of relevant indicators and the selection of scales were designed.After 12 weeks and 24 teaching experiments(48 class hours),the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Compared with traditional teaching mode,sports education mode has no significant difference in promoting the improvement of college students’ physical fitness and basic volleyball skills,but sports education mode has more significant teaching effect and is more conducive to the development of students’ athletic ability.(2)Compared with traditional teaching mode,sports education mode can effectively promote the improvement of college students’ team cohesion in sports morality.(3)Compared with traditional teaching mode,sports education mode has more significant teaching effect in stimulating college students’ interest in sports learning and social adaptability,which is conducive to promoting the formation of students’ healthy behaviors.(4)Compared with the traditional teaching mode,the sports education mode has more obvious teaching effect in the three specific indicators of sports ability,sports morality and healthy behavior,and is more conducive to the cultivation of the core quality of college students’ sports discipline.
