Interventional Research On Group Work Of Mutual Support For The Elderly In Urban Communities

With the deepening of population aging in China,it has become a national strategy to actively deal with population aging.Aging has brought great pressure on the elderly,so it is urgent to resolve the pension crisis.Especially for the vulnerable empty nest elderly,how to solve the pension problem is worth our thinking.As for the empty nest elderly,the function of family pension security has been weakened.If the social pension service can not meet the needs,it is easier to fall into the pension dilemma.In this case,mutual support for the elderly arises at the historic moment.Through the mutual assistance between the community neighbors,the mutual support network for the elderly is formed,so as to solve the problem of the elderly and improve the quality of the elderly.It can be said that mutual support for the aged is an effective supplement to the current community home-based care model,especially in relieving the pressure of the empty nest elderly.This study selected D community of C City,which has a large number of empty nesters,for investigation.The author found that the empty nesters in D community are lack of timely care,emotional comfort can not be satisfied,cultural and entertainment life is lack,and community home-based care service is relatively backward,which can not meet the needs of empty nesters.D community empty nest elderly need to change the current situation of pension,improve the quality of pension.From the perspective of social work,this study uses the way of group work intervention,through seven group activities,namely "nice to meet you","please let me help you","mutual aid plan to develop","crisis situation skillful handling","health lecture is of great use","cultural and recreational activities to participate","mutual aid group forever" to help empty nesters in community D build mutual aid group,We should carry out mutual support activities to solve the pension problems.According to the evaluation of the practical process and results,it is found that the team work method is effective in solving the problem.Through the intervention of group work,an effective mutual aid network has been successfully built for the empty nest elderly in community D,which creates a peripheral environment for mutual support and improves their mutual aid ability.At the same time,it also provides a reference for the establishment of more mutual pension groups in the future,and lays a foundation for the smooth development of mutual pension in D community.
