| Father Father is an indispensable part of the family role,and a complete and harmonious family cannot lack the role positioning of father.The father’s own gender and personality shape the educational philosophy he conveys to young children,which is completely different from the mother.In the family,the father’s participation in parent-child activities has a huge impact on the child’s personality,peer interaction,and so on.This study selected the fathers of237 randomly selected children from five kindergartens in Beijing as the subjects of this study.The research method mainly adopts a combination of literature review,questionnaire survey,and interview methods to explore the current situation of fathers participating in parent-child activities in families.This study can enhance fathers’ understanding of their role in participating in parent-child activities at the individual,family,social,and kindergarten levels;Help fathers establish correct educational and children’s perspectives;Strengthen the sense of letting go among other caregivers in the family;Specific methods for fathers to engage in parent-child activities can be organized and carried out in society and kindergartens.Thereby changing the difficulties faced by fathers in participating in parent-child activities for young children in the family.The The findings suggest that,first,fathers lack role recognition.It is mainly reflected in the lack of responsibility awareness of fathers participating in parent-child activities and the single form of fathers,resulting in the relatively low level of fathers ’participation;second,fathers’ errors on children participating in parent-child activities.Most parents are aware that father’s wrong participation will affect the development of children,but they do not realize that their view on children is wrong;third,fathers have old educational concept of participating in parent-child activities of children.The father’s participation is restricted by the educational thought of the older generation,and the restriction of his growing environment makes the test of the educational concept stay;fourth,the main caregivers do not delegate power and disturb the father’s participation in parent-child activities.fifth,the nature of the father’s own work has led to an unstable participation time.Finally,aiming at the problems of fathers participating in parent-child activities in the family and the factors influencing their participation in the family,strategies are proposed to promote active and effective parent-child activities of fathers in the family from the aspects of fathers themselves,family,kindergarten and society. |
