In recent years,biosafety issues have become increasingly important to the world,and in order to effectively respond to various biosafety issues,China has introduced the Biosafety Law of the People’s Republic of China.Under the current situation,biosafety education has become an essential part of national safety education.However,at present,the research and practice of biosafety education for various school levels and types of students in China are uneven,basically only medical students receiving higher education and vocational education can receive biosafety education,and students at the basic education level receive very little biosafety education.In order to promote biosafety education at the basic education level,this paper conducted an in-depth study and investigation,and concluded that it is suitable to carry out biosafety education through game teaching method at the high school level:(1)biosafety knowledge is specialized and difficult,and game-based teaching can improve the teaching effect;(2)high school biology textbooks cover a wealth of biosafety knowledge,and deep excavation and organization of them can develop suitable(3)high school students have strong independent learning and logical thinking ability,and it is easier for them to understand the more specialized biosafety-related knowledge compared with junior high school students;(4)high school students are in the important period of forming three views and are about to enter the society,through biosafety education,it can help students’ scientific literacy and sound sense of social responsibility.This paper first summarizes and analyzes the current situation of domestic and foreign research on biosafety education and educational games through literature research method,and then investigates and analyzes biosafety education through questionnaire survey method and interview method with biology teachers and students in a middle school in Guangyuan City,Sichuan Province as the respondents.Combining the results of the questionnaire survey,the teaching contents of biosafety education were sorted out,and the "Biosafety Law of the People’s Republic of China" was combined with the biology textbook of the Human Education Version.After establishing the teaching contents,we entered the game design.After establishing the teaching content,we entered the game design and development stage.Based on the theoretical basis of game-based learning,we chose 3ds Max for 3D modeling and Unity3D for game software development,and then released the game after testing.Finally,the following teaching practice results were obtained:(1)after applying the educational game to the teaching of biosafety education,students’ learning interest and classroom participation were significantly increased,and the level of biosafety knowledge and awareness was effectively improved;(2)patriotism education and collectivism education were infiltrated in biosafety education,and students’ sense of unity and patriotic enthusiasm were stimulated,and their sense of social responsibility was enhanced;(3)after the experiment,a Students were surveyed for satisfaction after the experiment,and the analysis found that students had positive attitudes toward the educational game and expressed their expectation to continue using the educational game in more subjects.This paper is an intentional attempt of high school biosafety education,and the author also puts forward some suggestions on teaching design and game design at the end of the paper,hoping to provide some reference for the subsequent educational game practice.
