With the deepening application of the internet age,mass media has sprung up like mushrooms after rain.The "History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education"(2022 Edition)emphasizes the rational use of scientific and technological resources to reflect new changes in economic and social development and new achievements in scientific and technological progress.Therefore,both at the theoretical and practical levels,people have conducted in-depth research on media means and resources.Based on the relevant theories of journalism and communication,this study explores ways to improve the effectiveness of junior high school history teaching through Walter Lipman’s theory of simulated environment,aiming to achieve actionable innovation in interdisciplinary research and provide feasible strategies for junior high school history teaching.At the beginning,the basis and significance of this topic selection were introduced,the research status and innovation were listed,and the relationship between the concept of simulated environment and the discussion elements was clarified.The importance of conducting junior high school history teaching in simulated environment was clarified,laying the foundation for implementing research.Based on the investigation and research on the current situation of history teaching in junior high schools under the pseudo environment,the research analyzes that there are common teaching problems in history teaching in junior high schools,such as ignoring the cultivation of core literacy,neglecting to expand students’ interests,and the widespread existence of "bringing doctrine".Then it briefly analyzes the reasons for the above problems: the concept of "epistemology only",the model of "fractional theory only",and the lack of media literacy.Based on the above analysis,strategies are proposed to enhance the effectiveness of junior high school history teaching,including enhancing the professional quality of junior high school history teachers,deepening students’ historical media literacy,optimizing the simulated environment of history teaching,and improving teaching evaluation under the simulated environment.The aim is to make some modest contributions to future junior high school history teaching.
