Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy Development On High-quality Employment In China

Employment is the first major people’s livelihood project,people’s work and basic projects in our country.It is essential to achieve harmonious and stable economic and social development.At the decisive stage of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,the most immediate and realistic interests of the people will be resolved.This is a matter of reform,development and stability in the overall situation.The two meetings in 2022 will take employment as the main issue for discussion,pointing out that more prominent priority must be given to promoting employment,promoting industrial transformation and upgrading,optimizing and upgrading the industrial structure and expanding domestic demand.With the development of the digital economy and the popularization of digital technology,the emerging economic form has brought more jobs and opportunities.In this regard,in recent years,China has put forward proposals to develop the digital economy in order to stabilize and expand employment,and pointed out that the development of the digital economy should be used to achieve job growth,ensure the expansion of employment fundamentals and improve the quality of employment in the process of continuous economic transformation and upgrading.In view of this,this paper starts from the theory,has studied and combed a large number of domestic and foreign research literature on digital economy and employment quality,based on the theory that the digital economy affects employment quality,has analyzed the influence mechanism of the development of digital economy on employment quality.Then,based on the panel data of 30 provinces(except Tibet)in China from 2012 to 2021,the index system of digital economy measurement and high quality employment measurement is constructed,the empowerment is carried out using entropy method,the index measurement is carried out,and the measurement results are analyzed from time and space perspectives.Based on this,the effects and mechanisms of China’s digital economic development on quality employment are studied from a spatial perspective using the Stata16.0 statistical software,SDM model,global and local Moran index,heterogeneity test,etc.The results show that,firstly,the development of digital economy has a significant positive effect on the quality of employment,and the development of digital economy promotes the improvement of the quality of employment in provinces and regions.Secondly,there are regional differences in the level of development of digital economy and high-quality employment in China.Third,the impact of digital economic development on the quality of employment has significant spatial spillover effects and regional heterogeneity,but there are significant regional differences.According to the empirical conclusion,this paper puts forward the following pointed countermeasures and suggestions:Firstly,coordinate the development of regional digital economy and narrow the gap of employment quality;Secondly,we should strengthen the environment for the development of the digital economy and vigorously develop the carrier of the digital economy.Thirdly,to raise the level of human capital of the workforce and promote high-quality employment development.
