A Project Study On The Involvement Of Group Work In The Cultivationof Volunteers In Displaced Communities

As early as in the report of the 19th CPC National Congress,it was proposed to build a social governance system featuring joint contribution,joint governance and shared benefits.In this new governance pattern,in addition to giving play to the role of social organizations and expert teams,more attention should be paid to the power of volunteers.In the governance of the community,volunteers can play a role in providing basic services,realizing the allocation of resources in the community,and promoting residents to participate in community activities.Unlike traditional rural communities and commercial housing communities,residents in evicted communities have weaker awareness of community affairs,community public space and other aspects than those in urban communities,are less familiar with each other.Therefore,it is difficult to realize community co-construction,co-governance and sharing.Therefore,volunteers can be cultivated to improve the familiarity among residents and give them the opportunity to participate in community governance,so as to enhance the residents’ sense of belonging to the community and promote the development of the community.This paper is based on the volunteer training project undertaken by W Institution in Suzhou,which is located in L community of industrial Park.After the interview and questionnaire survey,the problems of small scale and low service ability of L community volunteer team were sorted out.The scale of volunteer team was expanded through recruitment and community activities,and the service ability and rule awareness of volunteers were improved through training and group activities,and the backbone of volunteers was explored.Finally,the volunteers were led to carry out volunteer practice.Volunteers with outstanding performance will be honored.At the end of the project,the effectiveness of the project was determined by the volunteers’ satisfaction with the training and group activities.This study shows that volunteers can play an important role in community construction,and group activities are an effective way to cultivate volunteers in displaced communities.Of course,in the implementation of this project,social worker project operation experience is less,and the degree of professionalism needs to be improved.Through the research,this paper also puts forward suggestions in three aspects:professional competence improvement of social workers,establishment of equal working relationship and multi-link resources,hoping to provide reference value for other similar community service projects.
