Physical activity is one of the main risk factors for non-communicable diseases and death,physical activity is an external guarantee to promote the physical health of high school students,physical learning interest has an intrinsic role in promoting high school students’ physical learning and physical activity,and exploring the relationship between high school students’ physical activity,physical learning interest and physical health is of great significance for the study of physical health of high school students.Research Objectives: To understand the current status of physical activity,physical learning interest and physical health of high school students in Nanning,and to explore the differences in gender and grade.The relationship between physical activity,physical learning interest and physical health was discussed,the predictive effect of physical activity on physical health was analyzed,and the mediating effect of physical learning interest was examined.Research Methods: This study took the physical activity,sports learning interest and physical health of high school students in Nanning as the research objects.The cluster sampling method was used to conduct questionnaire surveys and physical fitness tests on 621 high school students from four high schools in Nanning.Excel and SPSS26.0 were used to collate and analyze data,descriptively count the physical activity,physical learning interest and physical health of high school students,and compare differences by chi-square test,independent sample T-test and one-way ANOVA.Pearson correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis of control variables and Bootstrap method in PROCESS4.1 plug-in were used to test the mediation effect to explore the relationship between the three.Research results:(1)The physical activity of high school students in Nanning is mainly medium and low intensity physical activity;There was a very significant difference in sex(P<0.01),with boys(2.483± 0.782)higher than girls(2.002 ±0.570);In terms of grades,there was also a significant difference(P<0.05),showing a downward trend with the increase of grades: senior one(2.296±0.710),>senior two(2.269±0.758)>senior three(2.121±0.680).(2)Nanning high school students’ interest in physical education learning is generally above the intermediate level;Among the sexes,the average total score of boys(86.820±18.156)was higher than that of girls(74.210±16.661),and there were very significant differences(T=8.988,P<0.01),and between grades,except for the contextual interest stimulation dimension(P>0.05),the remaining three dimensions:situational interest maintenance,individual interest germination,and individual interest maturity showed significant differences(P<0.05),and showed a downward trend with grade growth.(3)The excellent physical health grade rate of high school students in Nanning showed a downward trend with the increase of grades,and the passing rate increased with the increase of grades.In terms of gender,the total score of physical health was higher among boys(79.029±8.869)than that of girls(78.518±6.921),but there was no difference between the two(P>0.05).In terms of grade,BMI,lung capacity,sitting forward flexion,800 m,pull-ups,sit-ups and total scores of physical fitness test showed significant differences(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in50 m running,standing long jump and 1000m(P>0.05).(4)There was a significant positive correlation between physical activity and physical learning interest in high school students in Nanning(r=0.158~0.337,P<0.01),and there was a moderate positive correlation between physical activity score and total physical learning interest score(r=0.342,P<0.01),and there was also a significant moderate positive correlation between physical learning interest and physical health(r=0.396~0.474,P<0.01).(5)Physical activity had a positive predictive effect on the physical health of high school students,which could explain the 21.8% variation in physical health;Physical activity had a positive predictive effect on high school students’ interest in physical education,which could explain the 18.2% variation in physical learning interest.Situational interest maintenance,individual interest germination and individual interest maturation had a positive predictive effect on physical health,and situational interest stimulation had a negative predictive effect on physical health,which together explained the 18.0% variation in physical health.The direct effect of physical activity on physical health accounted for 74.4%,and the indirect effect of physical learning interest on physical health accounted for 25.6%.Conclusions:(1)The overall physical activity level of high school students in Nanning is mainly medium and low intensity,boys are mainly medium intensity,and girls are mainly medium and low intensity.(2)After the stage of stimulating situational interest,high school students in Nanning have not well entered the stage of maintaining situational interest,and the process from situational interest stimulation to the formation of stable individual interest has not been effectively paid attention to.Boys are more interested in physical education than girls;The interest in physical education learning has shown a downward trend from the first year of high school to the third year of high school.(3)The physical health status of high school students in Nanning is generally at a passing level;Boys are significantly higher than girls in physical form,physical function,speed quality and explosive quality,and girls are significantly higher than boys in flexibility quality;In terms of grade,physical shape,physical function and female strength quality showed a fluctuating trend of first rising and then decreasing,flexibility quality and boys’ strength quality maintained a continuous upward trend,and girls’ endurance quality performance decreased trend.(4)Physical activity had a positive relationship with physical learning interest and physical health;There is a positive relationship between physical learning interest and physical health.(5)The level of physical activity can not only predict their physical fitness level,but also predict their physical health level through the level of interest in physical education. |
