Art appreciation is one of the main courses to realize secondary school aesthetic education.Through the appreciation,analysis and interpretation of classic art works,secondary school students can learn about excellent art works,draw art nutrients from excellent art works,gain aesthetic feelings,and improve their ability to appreciate art works and their own art literacy.With the deepening of the new round of curriculum reform,the development of the times and the increasing demand of society for vocational and technical talents,there are many problems in the art appreciation classroom under the traditional teaching method,which can no longer meet the demand of cultivating comprehensive quality of technical talents,and the teaching mode needs to be updated.The application of inquiry-based teaching to secondary art appreciation class enriches the teaching mode of secondary art.By analyzing and discussing the questions and knowledge points set by the teacher in advance,students are motivated to learn,enhance their interest in learning,and meet the requirements of cultivating students’ innovative thinking and exploration ability.In this study,we investigate the current situation of the secondary art appreciation course,propose effective strategies for the application of inquiry-based teaching in the secondary art appreciation course,update the teaching methods of the art appreciation course,and carry out relevant teaching designs to apply inquiry-based teaching to the teaching practice of the secondary art appreciation course,and provide effective strategies for the teaching of the secondary art appreciation course.This paper uses literature analysis,questionnaires,interviews,and classroom observations to explore inquiry-based teaching in secondary art appreciation courses based on theory combined with teaching practice,and is divided into five parts.In the first part,through reading literature and finding information,the research on art appreciation and inquiry-based teaching in secondary vocational schools at home and abroad is discussed,and the rise and development of inquiry-based teaching is reviewed on this basis.The second part analyzes the concept and theoretical basis of inquiry-based teaching and learning as well as the concept and role of art appreciation courses.The third part focuses on investigating the current situation of inquiry-based teaching and analyzes the problems of the current status of the art appreciation course in Nanning S.Vocational and Technical School.The fourth part starts from the inquiry-based teaching strategies of the art appreciation course in Nanning secondary schools,and provides an in-depth analysis of several aspects such as students’ characteristics,implementation strategies and teaching design ideas,and explores the ways of implementing inquiry-based teaching and art appreciation courses.The fifth part mainly discusses four development suggestions to improve education and teaching ability from teachers themselves in response to the feedback of inquiry-based teaching practice,and formulates corresponding countermeasures from the school perspective. |
