| On May 1,2022,the newly implemented Vocational Education Law explicitly stated for the first time that vocational education is an education type of equal importance to general education.With the country’s vigorous development of vocational education and promotion of vocational education reform,how to better connect basic courses with professional courses is a difficult problem that all secondary vocational school teachers need to solve.Art appreciation is a significant part of the common curriculum in secondary vocational schools and a required course for students in various majors.However,art appreciation has long been marginalized,and its teaching content,methods,and evaluation are no different from those of general high schools,and the teaching effect is also unsatisfactory.Existing research results are mostly aimed at art courses in general education,with little research on art appreciation courses and teaching practices in secondary vocational schools.。This paper is divided into six parts to elaborate on the relevant contents of the applied research on the amalgamation of fine arts appreciation teaching and profession in secondary level.The first part of the introduction describes the research background,the intention and significance of the study,the range and subject of the study,the content and method of the study,analyzes the literature about art appreciation teaching in secondary schools,and interprets the innovative points of this research.The second part expresses the theoretical basis of this study,including self-efficacy theory,constructivist learning theory,key competency theory and the definition of related concepts,including vocational education,appreciation and connoisseurship,and art appreciation teaching.The third part analyzes the feasibility of integrating secondary art appreciation teaching with professionalism.The fourth part firstly compares and analyzes the secondary art curriculum standards,and then investigates three secondary colleges and universities in the urban area of Jingmen City,Hubei Province.The exploration finds that there are many dilemmas in the coursework,mentoring and learning of fine arts appreciation classes in the three secondary colleges and universities,and reflects on this current situation and analyzes the factors.The fifth segment focuses on implementation of the combination of secondary art appreciation teaching and majors,taking a vocational school in Jingmen,where the author has interned,as the object,to develop and carry out teaching practice of art appreciation courses of several majors,and then elaborate the significance of the combination of secondary art appreciation teaching and majors.The sixth part is the concluding remarks.This study finds the entry points related to art appreciation for curriculum development and teaching practice in view of the training objectives and curriculum settings of middle-grade early childhood care,tourism service and management and industrial robotics majors,and generates far-reaching significance for improving the efficiency of art appreciation teaching and cultivating vocational quality and aesthetic ability of middle-grade students. |
