| With the acceleration of China’s economy and society in recent years, the rural youth labor force is gradually flowing to the city due to the pressure of survival and other factors, resulting in a serious shortage of young labor force in rural areas, resulting in the emergence of a special group of "left-behind children".Childhood is a critical period of personal growth, mental health and physical health are crucial, due to the long-term lack of parents’ companionship and care, resulting in mental health imbalance of left-behind children.A large number of studies on left-behind children show that among the problems of left-behind children in rural areas, lack of selfconfidence is the most significant problem.Due to the low sense of self-identity,poor interpersonal relationship, more solitary character, low participation in collective activities and so on,these different factors comprehensively affect and hinder the mental health development of left-behind children. With the attention of the country and society to left-behind children, researchers from all walks of life and academia also pay attention to this group of people, and the research on its problems is gradually in-depth.This study mainly carried out field investigation and research on the problem of left-behind children in xx primary school in a county through questionnaires and nonstructural interviews, and analysed and summarised the self-confidence of left-behind children in the primary school and the main formation factors of the problem based on the existing survey and research results. The study found that the overall level of selfconfidence of left-behind children in the primary school is at a low level. The main manifestations are low self-identity,often feeling lonely, poor communication skills, lack of confidence in the future, feeling inferiority and other lack of self-confidence.The main reason for these is related to their perennial stay-behind experience, among which the family impact is the main reason. The separation from their parents all year round makes them lack care from an early age.In addition, the influence of intergenerational supervision makes them extremely insecure.According to the analysis of the results of the survey, this study mainly uses the method of group work to implement specific intervention services for left-behind children in a county a,and uses the advantage perspective and energy enhancement theory as the main theoretical perspective of this study to provide theoretical support for the self-confidence improvement of left-behind children.A total of 6 group activities are carried Quasi-specific group intervention enables leftbehind children to establish self-cognition more accurately,so that they can discover their own strengths, believe that they are valuable, and that they canhave the ability to solve the problems they are facing now,so as to improve their self-confidence.After the event, evaluate the left behind children in rural areas who receive services and compare the evaluation results before and after.By comparing the results,it is reflected that the confidence of rural left behind children who participated in group work activities has improved, and the basic goals of group work have been achieved. In the process of this study, there were also many issues, such as the lack of long-term service mechanisms. In response to these issues, reflection and summary were also made after the end of the study. |
