In recent years,the development of information technology education has been in full swing,constantly updating and iterating.China attaches great importance to the development of vocational education,constantly introducing policy documents related to vocational education,emphasizing that vocational education is as important as general education.The status of vocational and technical colleges has gradually risen,and the quality of vocational education teaching has become the key to cultivating talents.China’s vocational education adheres to promoting output in teaching,promoting teaching in output,promoting deep integration of teaching and output,and cultivating manufacturing talents with real talents and learning.Secondary vocational schools are the initial cradle of talent cultivation.The educational and teaching methods have gradually changed,moving towards the direction of technology application and innovation ability improvement.In this era,the concept of Maker Education,which emphasizes active learning,hands-on practice,and encourages innovation,has gradually set off a wave,and the resulting teaching methods have begun to receive attention from educators.The Maker Education model refers to teachers under the guidance of certain educational concepts,Utilizing abundant teaching resources,students are trained through seven links of the teaching process,emphasizing the consistency of training objectives,the integration of curriculum content,the initiative of student methods,and the rationality of teacher-student relationships.The Maker Education model meets the current needs of vocational education in China for talent cultivation.Therefore,in order to meet the needs of the curriculum reform and teaching of "Fundamentals of Computer Application" in secondary vocational schools,this study effectively combines the scs maker teaching method proposed by Fu Qian of Beijing Normal University with the basic curriculum of computer application in secondary vocational schools,exploring the application of the scs maker teaching model in such courses,in order to achieve good results in classroom teaching and evaluation,enhance students’ learning interest,and integrate classroom teaching links,Optimize classroom evaluation methods,cultivate students’ initiative,and awaken students’ innovative thinking.This study adopts the methods of literature research,experimental observation,interdisciplinary research,action research,and questionnaire survey.The author first reviews and sorts out relevant concepts and literature on Maker Education at home and abroad,analyzes traditional teaching models,and integrates relevant concepts such as Maker,Maker Education,Maker Teaching Methodology,and SCS Maker Teaching Methodology.Secondly,learn about the learning and life characteristics and computer application skills of secondary vocational school students through the Internet,conduct field surveys and interviews with teachers and students to understand the shortcomings and problems in the teaching of basic computer application courses in secondary vocational schools.Use the scs maker teaching model to develop detailed teaching outlines,teaching plans,and teaching plans for the existing problems,overcome the shortcomings of traditional teaching models,and highlight the advantages of the scs maker teaching model.Moreover,the author conducted a four-month teaching of the basic course of computer application in secondary vocational schools,and applied the model to the classroom,combining the learning and life characteristics of secondary vocational students,to improve the corresponding teaching links.Finally,through the comparison and systematic analysis of teaching practice between the experimental class and the control class,the teaching effect of the SCS Maker Teaching Model is tested from various aspects such as classroom performance,work content,student performance,and course activity.According to the research results,the scs maker teaching model significantly outperforms the traditional teaching model in the theoretical knowledge link in the classroom,and the practical knowledge link has also achieved good results,resulting in significantly better results in creative works;At the same time,students’ feedback on the classroom atmosphere,teaching format,and content evaluation is different from other courses.Under this mode,students are more relaxed in class,more able to integrate into the classroom,improve their academic performance and master computer application skills while learning by doing.The SCS Maker teaching model can effectively trigger classroom chemistry reactions,make teacher-student interactions more interesting,make teaching processes more relaxed,and provide students with substantial benefits.It helps secondary vocational students develop active learning and innovative awareness.The author hopes that this study can be helpful to the current educational practice of educators.
