Maker education is a new type of education model promoted by national policy documents and the trend of the times,which has changed the way students learn.The maker teaching method based on innovative ideas came into being due to a highly personalized training method.The SCS maker teaching method is the specific manifestation of maker education in subject teaching.Its core goal is to simplify the process of teacher development.The steps are simple,the maneuverability is strong,can improve the students’ practical innovation ability and get rapid promotion in the field of education.Therefore,in order to meet the new needs of VB(Visual Basic)programming curriculum teaching reform in secondary vocational schools,to change the status quo of passive learning and low classroom participation in VB classrooms,this research incorporates the SCS maker teaching method proposed by Professor Fu Qian Vocational VB programming is effectively used in the classroom,hoping to stimulate students’ interest in learning,cultivate a sense of cooperation and innovation,improve the ability to solve problems.The research methods used in this study mainly include literature research method,questionnaire survey method,observation method and action research method.First of all,the author sorts out the research status of maker teaching method at home and abroad and defines related concepts by consulting related documents of maker education and maker teaching method.Secondly,combined with literature,investigation,analysis and teaching practice,it summarizes the problems existing in the teaching of VB programming courses in secondary vocational schools.In view of this,it focuses on the application advantages of the SCS maker teaching method.Thirdly,under the guidance of corresponding concepts,a preliminary model of applying the SCS maker teaching method to VB teaching in secondary vocational schools is constructed,which mainly cultivates students’ multiple abilities from the four dimensions of innovation awareness,innovation skills,innovative thinking and innovative spirit.Then,taking the 2019 computer majors of Ruyang County Secondary Vocational School as the research object,a three-month teaching action study was carried out to explore the applicability of the model,at the same time,the experimental class and the control class were compared and practiced.Finally,the author uses tools such as questionnaire surveys,creative works,classroom observations,student performance and innovation ability measurement tables to test the teaching effect from multiple aspects.The research results show that the SCS maker teaching method is generally praised by the students in the experimental class and has achieved a certain teaching effect.Compared with the traditional teaching method,the SCS maker teaching method can stimulate students’ interest in learning and promote the development of students’ multiple abilities.The degree of completion of the work and the overall score of the students have been improved to a certain extent,the constructed model has been gradually improved in the three rounds of practice and is more operable.The author hopes that this research can provide guidance and reference for future teaching practice.
