With the rapid development of society,what our country needs to cultivate is not simply memorizers and bitter scholars,but thinkers,explorers,happy strivers,and efficient creators.In recent years,the study of learning effectiveness has been a matter of great concern in the educational field.Improving students’ learning effectiveness plays a very important role in their learning and development.Mathematics is an indispensable tool in our production,life,higher education,technology,and work.Focusing on the improvement of students’ sense of efficacy in mathematics learning activities can stimulate their sustainable development and lifelong learning.Different students have different abilities in understanding,digesting,and using knowledge.Therefore,only by teaching students in accordance with their aptitude can they maximize their learning potential and maximize their ability to achieve sustainable development.Layered homework is one of the practical ways to teach students according to their aptitude.This article attempts to conduct a hierarchical homework experiment to study the mathematical learning effectiveness of junior high school students,providing empirical evidence for improving their mathematical learning effectiveness and promoting the development of education.Based on literature review and interviews,the author conducted a survey and research on the current situation of junior high school students’ mathematical learning effectiveness using literature,survey,and interview methods,with a survey of junior high school students from a township high school in Xuzhou City as the object of investigation.The author designed an evaluation index system suitable for students’ learning effectiveness.By comparing and analyzing the changes in students’ mathematics learning effectiveness before and after the experiment,this paper discusses the impact of homework stratification on students’ learning effectiveness at different levels,and puts forward teaching suggestions to provide certain theoretical basis and practical reference for improving students’ learning effectiveness.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is an introduction,which mainly elaborates the purpose of the research,the significance of the topic selection,and defines the concepts of learning effectiveness and hierarchical homework.The second part introduces the theoretical basis of this study.The third part investigates the current situation of students’ mathematical learning effectiveness from seven dimensions: learning attitude,learning motivation,learning environment,learning expectations,learning ability,learning strategies,and academic achievement.The fourth part designs a layered homework teaching experiment to explore the impact of layered homework on learning effectiveness of students at different levels.The fifth part conducts a questionnaire survey on the learning effectiveness of students after the experiment,analyzes the data from two surveys before and after the experiment,and uses a comparative method to study the impact of hierarchical homework on learning effectiveness of students at different levels,drawing conclusions.The sixth part summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of the paper,and puts forward teaching suggestions and prospects for the research.
