As an important mode of inquiry-based teaching mode,"5E" teaching mode emphasizes student-centered,teachers as the guidance,and helps students to construct knowledge and understand scientific concepts through cooperative exploration.This topic is based on the "5E" teaching mode to carry out middle school chemistry teaching,and is committed to exploring the effective teaching mode of cultivating students’ scientific inquiry ability,and provides new ideas for cultivating students’ scientific inquiry ability.First of all,the author organizes and analyzes the relevant literature,redefines the relevant concepts combined with the existing research results,and deeply learns the constructivist learning theory,situational cognition theory and conceptual transformation theory.Secondly,the teaching principles and teaching design ideas based on "5E" teaching mode are constructed,and the contents of different classes are selected according to the characteristics of "5E" teaching mode.Then,two control classes with similar learning situation were selected to carry out educational experimental research.During the experiment,the principle of single variable was followed.The experimental class adopted the "5E" teaching mode to teach,and the control class adopted the traditional teaching mode to teach.Finally,the application value of the "5E" teaching model to cultivate the scientific inquiry ability of high school students is explored through the questionnaire,teacher classroom evaluation form and interview resultsThe research results show that in terms of scientific inquiry ability,according to the questionnaire results,the students in the experimental class and the control class are1.24 points in the average total score of scientific inquiry ability,and the significance P value is 0.102,and there is no significant difference in the total score of scientific inquiry ability between the two classes.After the experiment,the scientific exploration ability of the experimental class and the control class was improved compared with before the experiment.Whether the total score or the score of various dimensions,the experimental class is higher than the control class,and there are significant differences,indicating that the "5E" teaching mode has a positive role in promoting the development of students’ scientific inquiry ability;In terms of learning interest,the results of the questionnaire are analyzed.After the experimental class adopts the "5E" teaching mode,the average score of learning interest in the experimental class and the control class is 44.54 and 41.94,and the significance P value is <0.005.Compared with the traditional teaching,the "5E" teaching mode is more effective in stimulating students’ interest in learning chemistry.Finally,combining with the results of teachers’ classroom evaluation form and interview,it is found that it is feasible to apply "5E" teaching mode to the teaching of high school chemistry.Carrying out "5E" teaching mode chemistry class can improve students’ interest in learning chemistry and have practical value for cultivating students’ scientific inquiry ability.Finally,in the reflection process of this research,we thought teachers should thoroughly dig into the teaching materials and learning situation to integrate the "5E" teaching mode into teaching activities when teaching base on the "5E" teaching mode.Beside in the process of giving students sufficient time and space for exploration,we should cultivate students’ awareness of problems,build thinking "scaffolding" for students and assist students to solve problems to constantly improve their professional quality.Only in this way can the unique advantages and application value of "5E" teaching mode be fully reflected. |
