A Case Study Of Social Work For Children In High-Risk Situations

In recent years,with the transformation of the social system,the personal security from the family is constantly weakened,and the family problems occur frequently,leading to more and more children in difficulties.It is necessary to pay attention to the living conditions,welfare needs and other related issues of rights and interests protection of children in difficulties.Austrian psychologist Adler once said that lucky people are cured by childhood all their life,and unfortunate people heal childhood all their life.Unfortunate childhood experience will subtly affect our personality formation,interpersonal relationship and other aspects.High-risk children in distress are generally faced with serious domestic violence,abuse,abandonment,sexual assault,dropout,suicide,etc.They are the group with higher risk level among children in distress,which especially need to be paid attention to and protected.How to help children at high risk and difficulties to correctly deal with childhood crisis and cure childhood trauma in time?This paper mainly focuses on Suzhou in the protection of minors pilot exploration practice,with G minors protection center operation project case,based on the professional perspective of social work,explore using crisis intervention mode,high-risk dilemma children social work case service,help them actively cope with the childhood crisis,healing psychological trauma.In the specific research process,the author took 36 children with high-risk difficulties in 5 streets of G District as the survey object,and used the questionnaire survey and interview method to understand the specific problems in guardianship,physiology and behavior,and analyzed the causes from three aspects of society,family and individual.In the practical part,3 typical high-risk cases were selected in the project,and the six-step crisis intervention model was used to carry out risk assessment,formulate and implement case service plans,effectively reduce the risks of monitoring,physiological or behavior,assist service objects to solve problems,improve environmental adaptability,and restore normal life.After the end of the case service,the data measured before and after the risk assessment of the service object was compared,and the service effect was evaluated and the professional reflection was made,so that the case service experience of social work can be promoted among children with high-risk difficulties.
