Application Of Social Work In The Psychological Construction Of Employees In Petrochemical High-risk Enterprises

As China’s economy has shifted from high-speed growth to high-quality development,the petrochemical industry is also facing new situations such as capacity upgrading,product iteration and intensified competition.Safety accidents,including poisoning,oil spill and explosion,are still happening from time to time in such an industry with high risks and heavy pressure.Under the circumstances,employees in the industry are experiencing increasing prominent mental stress and psychological problems,which poses negative impacts not only on their physical and mental health,but on the harmonious development of the enterprises and society.As a result,petrochemical high-risk enterprises have the need to strengthen the psychological construction of employees urgently.It is of great significance to intervene in the psychological construction from the professional perspective and method of social work to improve the mental health level of these employees.This study takes S Refinery in D City as the object.Adopting methods of literature analysis and questionnaires,it aims to understand the psychological status and needs of employees and objectively evaluate the performance and shortcomings of the enterprise in the aspect of employee psychological construction,thereby conducting in-depth analysis of the necessity and advantages of social work intervention.Meanwhile,the practice of social work involvement in the psychological construction of employees in petrochemical high-risk enterprises is put forward under the guidance of theories of positive psychology,humanism and perspective of advantage.Through case study and group work,this thesis takes full advantage of social work in the psychological crisis intervention and psychological counseling with the employees,while it also provides solutions to certain problems employees encounter both at work and in life through improving interpersonal and domestic relationships with the concept of “people in the situation”.Therefore,as the psychological construction of employees is promoted by psychological counseling and is supported by benign changes of surroundings,the combination of social work,psychiatric consulting and enterprise management is better promoted organically,which enables social work in enterprise to play a positive role in psychological construction of employees.
