| "Geography Curriculum Standard for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020Revision)" attaches great importance to students’ learning in geography science,geographical observation and investigation and technology utilization,the analysis of the social hot spots,and researching on environmental problems,which fully embodies the close relationship between geography teaching and STSE(science,technology,society and environment)education concept.Therefore,in order to cultivate high-quality talents,it is necessary to apply STSE education concept to geography teaching in senior high school.Under the guidance of constructivism learning theory and zone of Proximal development theory,and literature research,questionnaire survey and interview methods were adopted,this thesis to comprehend the current situation of application of STSE education concept in Geography teaching of high school and analyzes the outcomes.On this basis,summarizing the application tactics of STSE education concept in high school geography teaching.After that,section 2 of Chapter 5 "The Formation of Soil" in the compulsory geography textbook of Hunan Education Edition in 2019 was taken as an example to implement teaching activities.Here are the main conclusions:(1)The questionnaire analysis results of teachers and students showed that in the process of teachers’ application of STSE education concept,there were problems such as insufficient emphasis,lacking of innovation in application methods,low degree of resource integration,and obstacles from various factors,which result in students’ learning needs not being fully satisfied.(2)The principles and strategies of STSE education in geography teaching in senior high school.The principles of application are the principles of comprehensiveness,openness,development and criticality.The application strategy was reading geography curriculum standard and digging STSE education concept;Sorting out geography teaching materials and integrating STSE teaching resources;Launching the teaching design and infusing the STSE education soul;Launching teaching value and analyzing the teaching effect of STSE education concept;Conducting teaching reflection and summarizing the teaching experience of STSE education concept.(3)The study used Hunan version of geographic required in the fifth chapter,the formation of the "soil" in the second quarter as an example to design the teaching and practice,and adopted the way of evaluation questionnaire and student interview evaluation,the result of the practice results showed that the STSE education concept applied in the high school geography teaching was helpful to improve students’ learning interest and cultivate practical view of the person to coordinate and geography.The study combined the STSE education concept with the teaching practice of geography,and integrated scientific knowledge,geography technology,social hot spots and environmental problems into the teaching of geography,expect to volunteer proposal for the teaching of frontline geography teachers. |
