The National Medium-and Long-term Plan for Education Reform and Development(2010-2020)clearly states that geography education in secondary schools should attach importance to the reform of teaching methods in the context of information-based education.The combination of modern information technology and education has become an inevitable trend.Various network teaching platforms and software have injected new vitality into the reform of teaching mode.In order to adapt to the pace of geography curriculum and teaching reform and promote the effective use of information technology in high school geography teaching,this paper uses literature research,questionnaire survey,actor network theory and case analysis.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Literature review and definition.Based on the literature review,this paper analyzes the research status of the actor network theory and the application of information technology in geography teaching.Based on the actor network theory,constructivist learning theory and TPACK theory,the feasibility of the combination of actor network theory and information technology in high school geography teaching is demonstrated.(2)Investigation and analysis of the current situation of the application of information technology in geography teaching in senior high schools.The results show that teachers lack information technology literacy,the degree of application of information technology is still shallow,teachers have a positive attitude towards the use of information technology,students lack information technology literacy,students recognize the positive impact of information technology,information technology has many advantages,but there are some limitations,school teaching facilities are backward,teaching resources and other issues.(3)Application research of information technology in senior high school geography teaching.This paper introduces the principles of using information technology resources,the ways of obtaining them and their functions in geography teaching in senior middle school.There are many kinds of information technology with powerful functions,such as encouraging students to take part in classroom activities,reforming teaching mode,creating realistic situation,improving students’ enthusiasm for learning,breaking through teaching emphases and difficulties,enriching teaching resources and expanding teaching capacity.(4)Application research of information technology in senior high school geography teaching from the perspective of actor network theory.Starting with the three core concepts of actor,translation and actor network,this paper constructs an analytical framework for the application of information technology in senior geography teaching.Taking "Karst Geomorphology" as an example,the author observes the behavior of the students in class and makes a questionnaire survey on the effect of the students after class.Based on the analysis of Karst Geomorphology teaching,the author concludes that Karst Geomorphology teaching includes geography teachers,students,educational department,curriculum standards,teaching materials,information technology teaching resources and teaching environment,education policies,etc.Based on the actor network theory,this paper analyzes the strong links among the actors in the network of Karst Geomorphology informationization teaching,and concludes that the strong links include the strong links among the education policy,the educational administration and the geography teachers,the strong links between the curriculum standards,the teaching materials,the geography teachers and the students,the geography teachers,the information technology teaching resources and the students.Based on the problems of the actors and the objections,this paper puts forward some adjustment strategies from curriculum standards,teachers’ competence,students’ development,information technology and teaching environment.Based on the actor network theory,this paper reconstructs the thinking mode of geography teaching informationization in theory,and carries out the curriculum demonstration of Karst Geomorphology,which is a compulsory course in Hunan Educational Press.
