With the issuance of Art Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education in April2022,Chinese music education reform has entered an era of core accomplishment.The core accomplishment of music discipline includes four dimensions: aesthetic perception,artistic expression,creative practice and cultural understanding.Music teaching should adhere to the quality orientation,the traditional music evaluation way can not meet the needs of the development of students’ core literacy,the performance assessment pointing to the music discipline literacy is considered to be a suitable evaluation way for music learning.How to understand the connotation of performance assessment,how to combine performance assessment with music subject and how to practice performance assessment of music subject are the challenges teachers are facing.Based on the review of the existing literature,this study explores the possibility of performance assessment as the evaluation method of music literacy,and attempts to construct the implementation path of artistic performance assessment that promotes students’ learning and the development of students’ literacy,so as to enrich the evaluation methods and provide references for the diversification of evaluation methods.In view of the investigation status of the evaluation method and evaluation subject of junior middle school music teaching is still relatively simple,combined with the characteristics of performance assessment and the implementation of the core quality requirements,the implementation of performance assessment should be specific to its objectives,performance tasks,scoring rules,literacy,to achieve the same teaching evaluation,learning to determine teaching,evaluation to promote learning,to promote the development of students’ ability.In this paper,performance assessment into junior high school music teaching practice research,the article is divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction introduces the research background,literature review,research purpose and significance,research ideas and methods.The second part explains the definition,constitution,advantages and limitations of performance assessment,and introduces the relevant theoretical basis.The third part investigates and analyzes the academic evaluation of junior high school music teaching.This chapter takes the teachers and students of Nanning Peihong Nationalitiy Middle School as the survey objects,conducts the survey in the form of questionnaires and interviews,and makes an in-depth analysis of the survey results,and draws inspiration from the survey.The fourth part is the practice of performance assessment of junior high school music teaching,which is divided into two parts: design and implementation.On the basis of the investigation results of the current situation of junior high school music teaching evaluation,it takes the music course of seventh grade of human education version as an example to design the goals,tasks and scoring rules of performance assessment of junior high school music teaching,and presents the singing class,appreciation class and creation class as cases.The fourth part concludes the conclusion of the thesis,finds out the deficiency of the research and puts forward the prospect of the research.Through research,the author finds that the practice of performance assessment in junior middle school music teaching conforms to the requirements of core literacy,the characteristics of music subject,and the characteristics of physical and mental development of middle school students.The integration of performance assessment and music teaching activities can promote the consistency of teaching evaluation.
