Educational informatization is the core of educational modernization, and the advancement of intelligent information technology provides it with new opportunities.Supported by the new generation of information technologies represented by 5G,big data, and artificial intelligence, educational informatization has presented a smart education ecosystem that is driven by teaching activities and based on educational data and intelligent technology, enabling the traceability of the entire educational process with joint participation and co-governance of teachers and students.Smart education is an educational model based on information technology, emphasizing the cultivation of students’ diverse development and innovation ability while focusing on personalized education. In smart education, platforms can use big data technology to analyze students’ learning behaviors and interests, formulate personalized teaching plans, and provide suitable learning resources and auxiliary teaching services. This study applied mixed teaching mode to the marketing course of Nanning xx Vocational and Technical School using literature research, survey research, and action research methods.Firstly, through literature research, this paper reviewed the origin, development, and application of blended learning at home and abroad, and interpreted blended learning from the perspectives of smart learning theory, constructivism theory, and humanism theory.Secondly, through questionnaire survey and interview methods, the basic situation and implementation of blended learning in the market-oriented majors of the school were investigated to provide a basis for blended learning research. This paper systematically expounded the necessity and feasibility of blended teaching design for the "Marketing" course based on smart vocational education, the teaching design principles of "systematic principle, subjectivity principle, feasibility principle, and integration principle," the online and offline mixed teaching mode of "pre-class + in-class +post-class + online exam," and the teaching evaluation method of "video viewing rate + case discussion + attendance + post-class exercises + exams" that takes into account process, diagnostic, and summative evaluations.Thirdly, through action research, three rounds of blended teaching design and practice based on "smart vocational education" were carried out in the course of "Marketing" at the secondary vocational school, and improvements and optimizations were made according to the problems encountered in the teaching activities. This paper described the pre-practice preparation of blended teaching from the aspects of pre-test analysis and teaching implementation preparation, and analyzed the whole process of three rounds of action research for three course examples,"Analysis of Consumer Purchasing Behavior," "Packaging and Brand Strategy," and "Distribution Channel Strategy," from six aspects: learning situation analysis,pre-class,in-class,post-class,problem analysis, and optimization reflection. Finally, statistical analysis was applied to process and analyze the obtained student performance, questionnaire data, and smart vocational education platform data. The implementation effect of the online and offline mixed teaching mode based on smart vocational education platform in the secondary vocational school’s marketing course was expounded from the three dimensions of student learning attitude, learning status, and satisfaction with blended learning. The research results indicate that the application of blended teaching based on "smart vocational education" in secondary vocational education can innovate and optimize traditional teaching methods, improve teacher-student communication and interaction, stimulate students’ intrinsic motivation for autonomous learning, and thus enhance their learning interest and effectiveness, providing a reference for secondary vocational education reform.
