A Study On The Construction Of Sports Clubs In Urban Junior High Schools In Suzhou

In this paper,we conducted an empirical study on the current situation of sports clubs in 12 junior high schools in Suzhou,using literature,interviews,questionnaires,fieldwork and mathematical statistics to understand the problems in the construction of sports clubs in junior high schools in Suzhou,and to propose countermeasures to the problems that plague the development of sports clubs for secondary school students,so as to revitalize the development of sports clubs for secondary school students and promote the sustainable development of sports clubs.The study concluded the following:1、Suzhou urban junior high school sports club construction has a certain number and scale.The types of clubs can be roughly divided into three types:teacher-led;student interest-led;and both.In terms of cognition,the average of their teachers’ and students’ cognition is at a high level,but there are large differences among different groups.Specifically,students’ cognition is generally higher than that of teachers;teachers’ cognition is higher than that of school leaders;and students’ parents show the lowest cognition.2、In terms of the management of sports club construction,loose organization,insufficient funding,poor security conditions and single content and little time for activities are still the common problems in the construction of sports clubs in primary schools in urban Suzhou.3、Combining with the actual situation of junior high schools in Suzhou city,the following construction ideas are proposed.That is:(1)Clearly positioning the goals of sports clubs,creating an organic combination inside and outside the sports classroom,and integrating the construction of sports clubs into the campus culture as a whole.(2)To improve the connotation construction of sports clubs,scientifically organize the form of sports club activities,enrich the sports club activities to carry out the project,based on the interests of students,to meet the diversified needs of students.(3)Sound sports club management system,strengthen the school’s three-tier management structure,ensure the organization of the school’s sports club work,clarify the functions and rights of each department,improve the sports club management rules and regulations,and strictly implement the sports club rules and regulations.(4)Strengthen the sports club guarantee system,optimize the management of sports club teachers,include sports club guidance work in the performance assessment,improve the professional ability of school teachers,introduce social forces into the campus,and improve the shortage of sports club teachers and other phenomena;broaden the funding sources of sports clubs,reasonably plan the school’s venue equipment resources,and establish a corresponding sports venue equipment management organization.
