With the continuous changes in China’s economic form and structure,the demand for college graduates with high comprehensive quality is growing.Colleges and universities shoulder the responsibility of talent training,so the second classroom has gradually become an indispensable part of the talent training system in colleges and universities.However,many colleges and universities pay more attention to the cultivation of the first classroom than the cultivation of the second classroom,which leads to the deformity of the development of the second classroom.Through comparative analysis and case analysis,as well as questionnaire and interview,this paper analyzes the problems in the construction of the second classroom of Huangshan University: the atmosphere of the second classroom is not strong,the operation mechanism is not perfect,the quality of activities is not high,the attitude of students’ participation is not correct,the development is not balanced,and the effect of education is not obvious.In order to solve the above problems,through literature analysis and combined with the survey results,improvement strategies are proposed: increasing the importance of participants in the second classroom,building an effective implementation guarantee mechanism for the second classroom,improving the systematic construction of the second classroom curriculum,and establishing a long-term education system for school enterprise cooperation.It is expected that through these strategies,Huangshan University can better play the role of second classroom education,so as to achieve the purpose of cultivating compound talents,clarifying the orientation of school running and promoting social development.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,including the research background,significance,content,ideas,research status and research methods at home and abroad,and innovations;The second part is the interpretation of the concept of the second classroom in colleges and universities;The third part is the investigation and analysis of the second classroom of Huangshan University;The fourth part is the analysis of the current situation of the second classroom construction in Huangshan University;The fifth part is the research on the improvement strategy of the second classroom construction of Huangshan University;The sixth part is the conclusion and outlook.
