| Key competencies was first proposed in our policy document in 2014.It reflects the pursuit of quality in education in our country.In recent years,the educational concept of key competencies is leading to the development of curriculum reform in China.The cultivation of key competencies depends on the specific situation provided by the education of each subject.Cultivating key competencies in primary school mathematics is helpful to break the shackles of the "knowledge standard view" on our education.The field of "Figure and Geometry" has its own uniqueness in cultivating students’ key competencies.Based on this consideration,this thesis takes the field of "Figure and Geometry" as an example to explore the methods and strategies for cultivating key competencies in primary school mathematics.This thesis analyzes the relationship between "Figure and Geometry" and key competencies from the basic characteristics of primary school mathematics education in "Figure and Geometry" and the content and arrangement of "Figure and Geometry" in the textbooks.It demonstrates the appropriateness,rationality and necessity of cultivating the key competencies in the field of "Figure and Geometry" of primary school mathematics.In order to effectively implement the cultivation of key competencies,it is suggested that should first construct the framework of key competencies in the field of "Figure and Geometry" of primary school mathematics.The core literacy in primary school mathematics includes the students’ development key competencies and mathematical key competencies,the thesis first analyzes the relationship between the two.On this basis,through literature analysis,interview and so on way to construct the key competencies framework of "Figure and Geometry" in primary school mathematics,and to determine the suitable for cultivation of students’ development key competencies and mathematical key competencies in "Figure and Geometry"(the main theme is "the understanding and measurement of graphics").From the model,the thesis obtains the inspirations about cultivating core literacy in primary school mathematics.These inspirations also inspires the subsequent research of the thesis.Inspired by the framework,this thesis chooses the classroom observation method to observe the teaching and learning process of "Figure and Geometry" class,and uses the interview method to assist the research.It is found that the current primary school mathematics "Figure and Geometry" in the cultivation of students’ development key competencies and mathematical key competencies has some positive places,but there are also some problems.The thesis summarizes the problems,mainly including: Teachers’ theoretical literacy restricts the cultivation of key competencies;The passive position of students restrains the development of their subjectivity;Classroom teaching methods limit students’ understanding of geometric figures;Students’ mathematical thinking is not valued and so on.In view of these situations,combined with the enlightenment obtained from the framework,the author puts forward the following cultivation strategies: the author puts forward the following teaching strategies from the perspective of key competencies: to improve teachers’ theoretical literacy and research literacy about key competencies;to enhance the students in the classroom main position from the classroom questions and learning situation investigation;to help students accumulate experience about the representation of geometric figures and activity experience by intuitive demonstration and operation exploration;to reflect the overall structure of graphics in teaching;to expose students’ thinking state,enlighten students’ deep thinking and so on. |
