AS Xi Jinping once pointed out,“Cyberspace is the common spiritual home of hundreds of millions of people.Cyberspace has a clear sky and a sound ecology,which is in line with the interests of the people.” Nowadays,while the wide use of the internet and new media,literacy of online users is uneven,and the hostile forces at home and abroad are there at the same time.These have led that the bad social trends of thought flood in cyberspace of our country,mainsteam values are impacted,and socialist ideology is threatened.So it is urgent to improve the new media literacy of the vast number of internet users,especially the new media literacy of college students.New media literacy education is a standardized channel to improve new media literacy of college students,but the current new media literacy education still has a problem of one-sided emphasis on instrumental reason.Therefore,bringing new media literacy education into the perspective of ideological and political education and embedding the key elements of ideological and political education is the only way to improve the effect of new media literacy education and the new media literacy level of college students.From the perspective of ideological and political education,this paper analyzes the basic situation of the current new media literacy of college students,and deeply analyzes the problems and causes of the new media literacy education of college students,and puts forward countermeasures to optimize the new media literacy education for college students.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the background of topic,research significance,research status at home and abroad and review,research methods and research key,difficult and innovative points.On the premise of defining the main concepts of new media literacy education for college students,the second chapter elaborates the basic relationship between ideological and political education and new media literacy education from three aspects of commonality,difference and mutual promotion,which reveals the possibility of integrating ideological and political education perspective.Morever,it discusses the significance of developing new media literacy education for college students from the perspective of ideological and political education from three aspects,including coping with the challenge of social trend of thought,promoting value identification and maintaining ideological safety.The third chapter is to understand the basic situation of new media literacy of college students,and comprehensively analyzes the restrictive factors of the low level of new media literacy of college students.Based on the education factors,the part expounds the existing problems of new media literacy education for college students,including the spontaneity of its rise,the lag of its implementation,the narrowness of its purpose and the limitation of its effect.As well as the main reasons for the problems includes the lack of top-level design,weak theoretical foundation,lack of discipline cooperation and insufficient practice accumulation.The fourth chapter focuses on the optimization of new media literacy education for college students from the perspective of ideological and political education.Firstly,it proposes the specific principles of the unity of political and academic,tool and value,knowledge and interest,dominance and subjectivity.Secondly,it enriches its content system from the following aspects,including strengthening normative education to promote self-discipline awareness of new media,strengthening values education to transcend the tool rationalality of mew media,strengthening ideal and belief education to overcome the over-entertaining tendency of new media,and strengthening ideological education to deal with the ideological challenges of new media space.Finally,it put forward some specific implementation paths including the government,colleges,society,college students themselves.
