| Autism is a widespread neurodevelopmental disorder.The main problems are social,language and behavioral stereotypes,and sometimes other complications.According to the 2017 Report on the Development of China’s Autism Education and Rehabilitation Industry II,there are nearly ten million autistic children in China,and about two million autistic children under the age of 14,and the number is still increasing.Nowadays,being unable to take care of oneself in life is one of the common problems of autistic children.Facing such a huge social group,it is urgent to find an effective education method to improve autistic children’s ability to take care of themselves in life.In this teaching experimental study,the author adopted the cross behavior multi baseline design of a single subject experiment in education research,and selected two autistic children,Xiao Dong and Xiao Xi,from an autism rehabilitation center designated by Xiamen Disabled Persons’ Federation as cases for intervention research.The demonstration teaching is taken as an independent variable,and the independent continuous action achievement percentage of the research object’s life self-care ability,that is,(the independent continuous action achievement rate)is taken as a dependent variable.The subjects were arranged in four stages,including baseline stage,intervention stage,generalization stage and maintenance stage.The data were analyzed by graphical analysis,visual analysis and social validity analysis.The social validity of this study was established through the interview and feedback questionnaire of parents and teachers on the effect of this teaching experiment research.Finally,the specific experimental results of this teaching experimental study are as follows: First,after the intervention of demonstration teaching,the improvement of autistic children’s ability to take care of themselves in life has a good immediate effect.Second,after the intervention in the demonstration teaching,there is a corresponding generalization effect on the improvement of autistic children’s ability to take care of themselves in life.The generalization effect results are different for each specific teaching experiment activity.Third,after the intervention of demonstration teaching,the improvement of autistic children’s self-care ability can be maintained effectively.Based on the whole process of the teaching experiment research,combined with the experimental results and the improvement of the accompanying ability of the experimental subjects,the research conclusion of this teaching experiment research is drawn.The demonstration teaching has a good intervention effect on the improvement of autistic children’s self-care ability.Finally,according to the results of the study,we discussed and put forward some suggestions on the teaching implementation of the demonstration teaching for the improvement of autistic children’s ability to take care of themselves in life,which will provide reference for future relevant teaching. |
