Self-care ability is the basis for individuals to adapt to society and live independently, and it is also the basic ability that everyone should have. With the gradual enhancement of educational awareness, parents and teachers gradually understand the importance of cultivating children’s self-care ability from an early age.The ability of self-care needs to be developed and cultivated through the training of self-care skills.Under the guidance of national policy documents, many scholars have also begun to study the training of self-care skills for different groups.Autistic children,as a special group of children, have many difficulties in self-care due to their own defects in cognition, emotion and movement, which not only leads to their inability to integrate into society smoothly, but also adds many difficulties to their families and schools. Therefore, how to improve the self-care skills of autistic children is the focus of many scholars at present. With the deepening of the research on autistic children, the video demonstration method based on behaviorism and observational learning theory has been continuously applied to the intervention training of autistic children. Many researchers have found that the video demonstration method can achieve good results in the self-care of autistic children.On-the-spot demonstration method has always been a traditional teaching method, and scholars have long proved the effectiveness of on-the-spot demonstration method in the intervention of autistic children. In this study,it is necessary to explore how to integrate the advantages of these two methods and build an intervention model of video combined with live demonstration on the self-care skills of autistic children. Therefore, this study aims to improve the self-care skills of autistic children through the intervention teaching of video combined with live demonstration, and provide reference for related research and practical exploration.Specifically, under the guidance of observational learning theory and psychological and social development theory, based on Smith Regan’s instructional design model, combined with the learning characteristics of autistic children, this paper constructs an intervention model of video combined with on-site demonstration. In the first stage,it analyzes the needs of autistic children and determines the target behavior. After the observation and evaluation by researchers in the first stage,it is finally determined that the target behavior of study object 1 is "folding clothes" and "washing hands",and the target behavior of study object 2 is ".In the second stage, the preparation of intervention media and the implementation of intervention teaching were carried out,and the multi-baseline design of single subject’s cross-behavior was adopted. The subjects received four stages of experimental treatment: baseline period(A),dry expectation period(B),maintenance period(M)and classification period(C).Finally,it entered the evaluation stage. In the evaluation stage, the researchers quantitatively analyzed the achievement rate of independent continuous movements of the two subjects through visual analysis and C statistics, and then established social validity by combining the teaching interviews of parents and teachers, and finally reached the conclusion of this study:(1)video combined with on-site demonstration intervention has a good immediate effect on improving the self-care ability of autistic children.(2)video combined with on-site demonstration intervention has a certain maintenance effect on improving the self-care ability of autistic children.(3)video combined with on-site demonstration intervention has a good classification effect on improving the self-care ability of autistic children. In addition, the researcher analyzes the reasons for the poor effect of some target behaviors in this study, and puts forward some suggestions on the intervention of video combined with on-site demonstration, hoping to provide some reference for the cultivation practice and related research of self-care skills for autistic children. |
