| Teaching quality occupies a central position in the talent training strategy of universities,and teaching quality assessment is an important way to reflect the quality of teaching,which is a crucial and central part of education and teaching work.The Ministry of Education clearly requires that the National Open University be built into a platform for lifelong education,online education,flexible education and external cooperation in China,which marks a new stage of all-round development and high-quality enhancement for the Open University.As one of the subordinate branches of the National Open University,the quality of teaching at Beidaihe Open University not only directly affects the status of the Open University as a teaching model in public opinion,but is also closely related to the stability of its student population,the space for business expansion and the gold content of its qualifications.By reviewing the literature on teaching evaluation and factors affecting teaching quality assessment,the thesis introduces the current situation of teaching quality assessment in Beidaihe Open University in a more systematic way and clarifies the importance of scientific teaching quality assessment for running a good open education.On the basis of defining the concepts of teaching quality and teaching quality assessment,the thesis elaborates on the meaning of teaching evaluation theory,the concept of developmental teaching assessment and the theory of total quality management.The assessment indicators do not reflect the overall teaching quality,the lack of assessment of online teaching behaviour,the low operability of data collection of assessment indicators and the insufficient application of assessment results.Through research and analysis,several reference measures are finally proposed,such as introducing diversified assessment subjects,adopting multi-dimensional assessment indicators,enriching the diversity of assessment methods and effectively using assessment results,in the hope of helping to improve the assessment of teaching quality at Beidaihe Open University. |
