China's Network Of Open University Education Quality Monitoring System

Distance Open University education is a special member of ethnic groups in our higher education, experienced from correspondence university, radio and television university to today's network Open University development of the corresponding phase,although it has developed rapidly, there still exists heavy scale light quality,heavy technique light specialization, heavy results light process, the quality monitoring system of serious defect problem. It can be said that distance Open University education quality suffered from denounce from the beginning of correspondence which is a social problem. Our distance Open University has entered the comprehensive reform and the development of new era, and how to construct education quality monitoring system and can operate it effectively which has become the major issue that should be solved urgently.This paper takes distance open university quality supervision conditions in Britain, America and China as typical cases, considers that establishing distance open university education quality supervision system is one of the keys for improving education quality and puts forward the contents of distance open university education quality supervision system in China, which are establishing correct distance open university education quality viewpoint, reforming external supervision system of higher education in China and focusing on establishing scientific and effective internal management system.
