With the increasingly severe employment situation of College students,more and more graduate students are taking part in the postgraduate entrance examination.Graduate students have become a group with outstanding anxiety.How to alleviate the pre-examination anxiety of postgraduate students and help them achieve ideal results has become a problem worthy of attention.This paper explores the group work method in social work to alleviate the anxiety of graduate students,trying to provide effective services for graduate students.This paper takes the senior postgraduate students of Z postgraduate training school in Changchun as the research object,through questionnaire survey,reading literature and observing the learning state of the subjects,to understand the basic situation and overall anxiety of the senior students in this postgraduate examination institution,and to analyze and judge the main factors affecting the anxiety of postgraduate entrance examination are low self-efficacy and poor review.It was found that the anxiety of female students was significantly higher than that of male students,and the anxiety of candidates enrolled in "double-top" universities was significantly higher than that of candidates enrolled in ordinary universities.Based on this,candidates with higher anxiety in Z postgraduate training schools were recruited to carry out group activities.Based on self-efficacy theory and ecosystem theory,this paper designs six group practice activities.During the activity,the anxiety of group members caused by poor review status can be alleviated by the way of organizational teachers' describing review methods and techniques.Through the analysis of their own successful experience,the encouragement and support advice among group members can help group members to be correct.Recognize yourself and enhance self-efficacy.While intervening in the main influencing factors of College Students' anxiety for postgraduate entrance examination,we further explored the anxiety status of the service subjects in different stages of preparation.We found that group members hesitated in the autumn preparation stage in choosing the college majors for the entrance examination,were easily influenced by the working classmates around them in the winter preparation stage,and were vulnerable to rejection in the sprint preparation stage.Good information impact and easy to give up emotions before the examination,social workers in different stages of the group members to understand the specific test preparation anxiety after further intervention and alleviation.After the end of the group activities,the practical effect of the group activities was evaluated.It was found that most of the group members' anxiety scores decreased after the group activities,but the specific extent of the decline varied with people.Some of the group members' anxiety level decreased significantly,while some of the group members' anxiety level decreased limited.It can be seen that social work has a certain effect on alleviating college students' anxiety about postgraduate entrance examination.
