| In recent years,with the increasing divorce rate in China,the number of children from single-parent families is also increasing.In the process of interviewing the children in community Z,the social workers paid attention to the children from single-parent families and found that they had a lack of self-confidence.Specifically,in the process of communication,they are mostly afraid to speak,unwilling to communicate with social workers;low self-evaluation and can not objectively understand themselves,do not see their strengths.Childhood is the golden period of individual growth.Influenced by changes in family structure,social culture and other factors,children from single-parent families may have problems of lack of self-confidence,which is not conducive to their healthy growth and future development.This paper takes the children of single-parent families with insufficient confidence in Z community as the service object,takes the theory of advantage perspective,and uses the interview method and questionnaire survey method to explore the intervention strategy of group work to improve the confidence of children from single-parent families.The first part of this paper discusses the research background,significance,basic concepts,theoretical basis,research ideas and methods,research data analysis,and the ethics that should be observed in the research.In the second part,the confidence status of children from single-parent families in community Z was understood based on the community director interview,M primary school questionnaire survey,preliminary household interview,and Rosenberg confidence scale measurement,and analyzed the reasons.The third part is the practical process of group work involved in improving the self-confidence of children in single-parent families.After the recruitment of group members and the design of the group activity plan,eight group activities were carried out,which were divided into three stages.The first stage is the initial stage of the group: to explore internal strength and improve self-cognition.The second stage is the middle of the group:explore the advantages and potential,enhance self-confidence.The third stage is the end of the group: healing and integration,consolidating self-confidence.The fourth part is the process evaluation and result evaluation of the effect of group activities,and finally summarizes and reflects on the ethics of the whole service process and the role of social workers.The results show that group work guided by the superiority theory can improve the self-confidence of children from single-parent families and is feasible and effective.After the intervention of the group work,the confidence level of the 10 team members was improved,and all reached the self-feeling normal or confident state.The negative self-evaluation has changed,and they can accept the imperfect self and see their own strengths and strengths. |
