China’s higher education has entered a new stage of high-quality development,and opened a new journey of connotative development with improving the quality of talent training as the core.Curriculum is the core of talent cultivation,and the quality of curriculum directly determines the quality of talent cultivation,and strengthening curriculum construction is an important means to improve the quality of curriculum and talent cultivation.2019,the Ministry of Education released the "Implementation Opinions on the Construction of Firstclass Undergraduate Curriculum" and implemented the Double Million Plan of First-class Undergraduate Curriculum,which set off a new climax of curriculum construction in all universities,actively strengthening curriculum construction and achieving remarkable results.With the comprehensive promotion of professional accreditation and the construction of new engineering in Chinese universities,the education and teaching reform led by the concept of professional accreditation and the concept of new engineering has been deepened.Therefore,the thesis takes the OBE concept as the leader,implements the modern education concept into the whole process of curriculum construction,and follows the essential requirements and inner rules of curriculum construction,and deeply analyzes and proposes the construction strategies of engineering courses in local undergraduate institutions under the modern education concept.Guided by Bloom’s theory of classification of educational objectives,Bruner’s theory of structuralist teaching and learning,developmental evaluation theory and humanistic curriculum theory,the thesis conducts an in-depth study on the construction of engineering courses in local undergraduate colleges and universities under the OBE concept.Firstly,the literature research method was used to fully investigate the construction of engineering courses in colleges and universities at home and abroad and the current situation about the construction of engineering courses in colleges and universities under the OBE concept at home and abroad,to deeply explore the connotation of the OBE concept,to follow the essential requirements and inner rules of the construction of courses,and to combine the characteristics of local undergraduate colleges and universities,and to refine the implementation points of the OBE concept in the construction of courses.Secondly,the case study method and comparative study method are used to conduct a comprehensive and indepth investigation,analysis and comparison of the implementation cases of curriculum construction in six universities at home and abroad,so as to derive the experience and inspiration that can be drawn from this study.Again,based on the guiding ideology,basic principles,construction goals and construction tasks of the Ministry of Education on the construction of first-class undergraduate courses,the top-level design of the construction of engineering courses in local undergraduate colleges and universities under the OBE concept is studied,focusing on the guiding ideology,basic principles,construction goals and construction tasks,in close connection with the implementation points of the OBE concept in curriculum construction and the characteristics of local undergraduate colleges and universities.Finally,based on the guiding ideology,basic principles,construction objectives and construction tasks of engineering courses in local undergraduate colleges and universities under OBE concept,and drawing on the advanced experience and inspiration of curriculum construction in universities at home and abroad,we propose seven construction strategies for engineering courses in local undergraduate colleges and universities under OBE concept,including curriculum construction concept,teaching team,curriculum objectives,curriculum content,teaching mode,curriculum evaluation and quality evaluation of curriculum construction.The strategy for the construction of engineering courses in local undergraduate institutions under the OBE concept is proposed.At the same time,we propose the implementation guarantee for the construction of engineering courses in local undergraduate colleges under the OBE concept.The research results of the paper will definitely help to improve the quality and level of the construction of engineering courses in local undergraduate colleges and universities,and also play a great role in promoting and facilitating the curriculum construction and overall improvement of talent cultivation quality in colleges and universities.
