In October 2020,the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Overall Plan for Deepening the Reform of Educational Evaluation in the New Era,which clearly proposed that "we should explore and establish a teaching review system for primary and secondary school teachers.Teachers should conduct academic review for every student every semester,and the review should be included in the teachers’ assessment content",in order to give full play to the educational function of evaluation and realize the realization of cultivating virtues and talents.The central document put forward "academic review" for the first time,which indicates that academic review will become the basic responsibility of teachers to carry out education and teaching work.However,it is not clear in the document what academic review is,why and how to conduct academic review.Therefore,this study clarifies the concept of academic review and explains the value of academic review.With the teachers of three primary schools as the main research objects and the students as the secondary objects,this paper investigates the current situation of the teachers’ academic review and tries to put forward the strategies for teachers’ academic review.Firstly,questionnaires were used to investigate the teachers of the three schools,and students were verified by questionnaires.Then interviews and text analysis were used to deeply understand and analyze the development of academic review.The thesis is mainly studied from the following five parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper expounds the origin and significance of the study of academic review,defines the core concepts,summarizes the relevant literature,and introduces the research ideas and methods.The second part discusses the value of academic review from the characteristics of academic review and its influence on teachers and students.The third part is the investigation of the status quo of D,E and F elementary school academic review.By means of questionnaire survey,interview,text analysis and other research methods,this paper analyzes the cognition,participants,information collection,standard formulation,content and effectiveness of academic review of teachers and students.In the fourth part,through the analysis of the current situation of academic review in primary schools,it is found that there are some problems in the process of review,such as teachers’ unclear cognition of academic review,cognitive bias between teachers and students,incomplete content of review,single evaluation method,fuzzy evaluation criteria,and teachers’ low enthusiasm in academic review work.In the fifth part,the author tries to put forward the strategies for teachers to carry out academic review.First of all,it makes clear the principles that teachers should follow in carrying out academic review.Secondly,it puts forward some strategies for teachers to carry out academic review,including improving teachers’ understanding of the value of academic review.Carry out "selfevaluation" and "mutual evaluation" on the basis of equal consultation;Collecting academic performance information through diversified evaluation methods and using information technology to assist academic review;Timely academic review feedback.Establish academic review standards.Through the above research,the author hopes to provide reference for primary school teachers to carry out academic review.
