The Cultivation Of Craftsman Spirit

The spirit of craftsmanship is an important spiritual quality needed for the sustainable development of the country,society and humanity.It not only hones the will of people,but also plays an important role in themselves,their profession and society.In the report of the 19 th Party Congress,it is proposed that the spirit of model workers and craftsmen should be promoted to create a culture of professionalism in society,and that China should not only develop into a manufacturing power,but also improve the quality of its products.At this stage,education is paying more and more attention to the cultivation of high-quality talents,and it is an inevitable trend to cultivate craftsmanship among high school students as the backbone of future social development.The General High School Art Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition Revised 2020)for art education classroom resources and development,put forward clear recommendations and requirements,in focusing on basic education,to strengthen the cultivation of aesthetic education,adhere to the core literacy-based,establish the correct values and the quality of excellent craftsmanship,shaping the overall development of moral,intellectual,physical,social and aesthetic talents,is to reflect the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics theory and new achievements in construction.Bringing the cultivation of craftsmanship into high school art design and production classes is an opportunity to pass on our excellent traditional culture.In the teaching of design and production,the shift from the simple learning of skills and knowledge to the cultivation of spirit with attitude is a combination of theory and practice,which is conducive to the creation of new ideas in teaching,which plays a role in the dissemination of our excellent spiritual culture and the cultivation of quality education for students.In the art class not only can learn professional knowledge but also feel the connotation and meaning of China’s traditional spiritual culture,and feel first-hand the origin and profoundness of China’s excellent traditional spiritual culture,so that students can learn the spirit of craftsmanship in the process of teaching activities and promote the development of China’s excellent traditional spiritual culture.This study first analyses the basic characteristics and contemporary values of craftsmanship,builds a link between craftsmanship and high school art design and production classes,and clarifies the pedagogical significance and teaching value of craftsmanship as a resource for design and production courses.From the introduction of the national report to the high school art curriculum standards and the five core literacies to the content of the teaching materials,the importance of the artisan spirit is demonstrated.This excellent spiritual quality is worth learning and is in line with students’ development,who should have the quality of craftsmanship as a way to cope with their current learning and future development.Secondly,the survey method and interview method were used to investigate and analyse high school students’ knowledge of craftsmanship,and to explore whether it is necessary to conduct lessons on developing craftsmanship in high school art classes.Again,the application of craftsmanship in design and production classes is explored,and effective ways and teaching strategies to cultivate craftsmanship in design and production classes are explored.Finally,through an analysis of the high school art textbook for the Renmei edition,the content that is consistent with the cultivation of craftsmanship is collated and suitable teaching content is selected for teaching.By incorporating craftsmanship into the process of art design and production,students will have a deeper understanding of craftsmanship and achieve the purpose of cultivating students’ craftsmanship.
