| The introduction of the "double reduction" policy has put forward higher requirements for homework design,and the "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Full-time Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" has made a new definition of the connotation of language core literacy and put forward new requirements for the nurturing goals of Chinese subjects.However,in the current design of Chinese extra-curricular homework in elementary school,the main content is to consolidate knowledge and skills,and the main purpose is to improve grades,ignoring the development of students’ core language literacy.Because of it,the study on the design of Chinese extra-curricular homework in elementary school based on the background of "double reduction" and core Chinese literacy is of great practical significance to improve the validity of homework design and the implementation of the value of subject education.In this study,literature,questionnaires,interviews and case studies were used to investigate the design of Chinese extra-curricular homework in the second grade of elementary school,and four dimensions of homework quantity,homework type,homework content and homework assessment were investigated and the data were statistically analyzed.The results of the data analysis revealed the problems in the design of Chinese extra-curricular homework in the second grade of elementary school,including a large amount of total homework,a single type of homework that lacks innovation,boring homework content that lacks integration,and an old way of assessment that lacks direction.These problems are mainly related to teachers and schools: from the teachers’ level,one is teachers’ biased view of homework;the other is teachers’ lack of awareness and ability of homework design;the third is neglect of interdisciplinary homework.From the school level,it is mainly because of the lack of relevant teaching and research training in schools.In order to give better play to the function of Chinese extra-curricular homework in elementary school,this study proposes effective strategies for the design of extra-curricular homework in the second period of elementary school language,taking the theory of optimization of teaching process,the "double reduction" policy and Chinese core literacy as the theoretical guidance.First,at the teacher level,teachers can adopt alternate assignment methods to control the total amount of homework;change the concept of homework design to promote students’ development;enrich the content of homework and expand the scope of homework;create diversified types of homework;and innovate the way of homework evaluation.Second,at the school level,schools and related departments should strengthen teacher training.Cultivating students’ core literacy and implementing quality education have become the value pursuit of modern education.As one of the important links of teaching,teachers should pay attention to the important status of Chinese extra-curricular homework,continuously improve homework design ability,and promote the overall development of students’ knowledge and literacy under the premise of controlling quantity and improving quality,so that they can obtain comprehensive development in cognition,thinking,language and aesthetics. |
