An Empirical Study On The Influencing Factors Of College Students Returning To Their Hometown To Start Their Own Businesses In Yantai Under The Background Of The Strategy Of Rural Revitalization

The proposal of the rural revitalization strategy provides a certain political development direction for the development of China’s rural economy.With the change of employment trend,college graduates have also begun to face the increasingly fierce competition in employment.The employment problem has risen to a certain social problem,even to a certain extent,it has affected the development process of the country and the effectiveness of poverty alleviation,and hindered the development pace of college graduates’ job search and entrepreneurship.The year 2022 is the key year of the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan".The development and progress of China’s rural economy are eagerly looking forward to the strength of college graduates,but most college graduates are still unwilling to take the countryside as their first choice when facing the choice of entrepreneurship and employment.To achieve the effect of talent introduction and revitalization of China’s rural areas,universities,governments and villages need to make joint efforts.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,empirical analysis and interview,selects college students in Yantai City as the survey objects,analyzes the suggestions for college students in Yantai City to return to their hometown and start their own businesses in the context of the rural revitalization strategy,and combines the current research status of college students at home and abroad to return to their hometown and start their own businesses in the context of the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,Therefore,relevant suggestions for improvement are put forward,which will play a positive role in the future college students’ return home entrepreneurship development and rural economic development.Through the questionnaire survey and analysis of the current situation of college students returning to their hometown to start their own businesses in Yantai,it is concluded that the proportion of college students returning to their hometown to start their own businesses has increased,but the rate of returning to their hometown to start their own businesses is low,and the entrepreneurial environment is changing.However,support for returning to their hometown to start their own businesses still needs to be strengthened.There are many policies for returning to their hometown to start their own businesses,but they have not been put into practice.Colleges and universities do not pay enough attention to entrepreneurship training,and they lack certain guidance for returning to their hometown to start.Through empirical analysis from four perspectives of individual,environment,policy and school,the paper puts forward suggestions on increasing students’ understanding of homecoming entrepreneurship,improving homecoming entrepreneurship awareness,improving homecoming entrepreneurship financing channels,increasing family entrepreneurship support,increasing college students’ homecoming policy publicity,improving policy implementation measures,establishing a scientific and sound talent training system,and increasing students’ entrepreneurship guidance.
