| Research purposes: Football is a long time, high intensity, intermittent sport. In competitions, although athletes spend most of their time walking or jogging at low speeds,a large number of high-intensity movements, such as sprinting, intercepting, jumping, breaking through, and shooting, can often influence the situation of the competition and determine the outcome of the competition. These sports methods require anaerobic metabolic energy.During heavy exercise training and competition, male college football players cannot meet their energy supply needs and combat sports fatigue with normal dietary intake. The scientific and reasonable use of nutritional supplements can improve the training efficiency of football players and improve their game performance. This study investigated the effects of creatine and sodium bicarbonate supplementation on body composition, speed, lower limb strength, sensitivity, and endurance of male college football players after 7 days of supplementation,in order to provide reference for nutritional supplementation of male college football players.Research methods: This study uses the methods of literature, experiment, and mathematical statistics.A randomized, single blind, controlled experiment was conducted on 16 players of the men’s football team of Northwest Minzu University(Group B).Participants were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group and the placebo group. The experiment lasted for 7 days and was conducted during the preparation period of the team. Before and after the experiment, participants were tested on body composition, speed, lower limb strength, sensitivity, and endurance indicators.SPSS 27.0 software was used to statistically analyze the experimental data. All experimental data were expressed as mean ± standard deviation(Mean ± SD).Independent sample t-tests were used to compare the differences between the groups before and after the experiment.Paired sample t-tests were used to compare the differences between the groups before and after the experiment.P<0.05 represents a significant difference, and P<0.01 represents a very significant difference.Research results:1.Body composition: After the experiment, there was no significant difference in body weight, body fat ratio, and BMI between the experimental group and the placebo group(P>0.05).Compared with before the experiment, there was no significant difference in body weight, body fat ratio, and BMI in the experimental group after the experiment(P>0.05).2.Speed: After the experiment, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the placebo group in the performance of the 10 meter straight run in the static state and the 10 meter sudden acceleration broken line run in the fast run state(P>0.05).There was a significant difference in the performance of the 30 meter straight run in the static state and the 15 meter oblique acceleration run in the fast run state(P<0.05),and the performance of the experimental group was significantly improved.Compared with before the experiment, there was no significant difference in the performance of the experimental group in the 10 meter straight run at rest and the 10 meter broken line run at sudden acceleration in the fast run state after the experiment(P>0.05);There was a significant difference in the performance of the 30 meter straight run in the static state and the 15 meter diagonal acceleration run in the fast state(P<0.01),and the performance improved significantly after the experiment.3.Lower limb strength: After the experiment, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the placebo group in the performance of standing long jump, single leg forward jump(left leg),and single leg forward jump(right leg)(P<0.05),and the performance of the experimental group was significantly improved.Compared with before the experiment, there was a very significant difference in the standing long jump in the experimental group after the experiment(P<0.01),with a significant improvement after the experiment; The results of single leg forward jump(left leg)and single leg forward jump(right leg)were improved, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).4.Sensitivity: After the experiment, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the placebo group in the performance of curve running and four line round trip running(P<0.05),and the performance of the experimental group was significantly improved; There was a significant difference between T-type running and Illinois(P<0.01),and the performance of the experimental group was significantly improved.Compared with before the experiment, there was a significant difference in the curve running performance of the experimental group after the experiment(P<0.05),which was significantly improved after the experiment; There was a significant difference in the scores of the four line round trip,T-type run,and Illinois(P<0.01),and the scores improved significantly after the experiment.5.Endurance: After the experiment, there was no statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the placebo group in their intermittent recovery grade 1 performance(P>0.05).Compared with before the experiment, there was no significant difference in Yo Yo’s intermittent recovery grade 1 scores in the experimental group after the experiment(P>0.05).Research conclusion: After 7 days of supplementation with creatine and sodium bicarbonate for male college football players, there were no changes in body composition(weight, body fat ratio,BMI),endurance(Yo-Yo intermittently regained level 1),quality,speed(30 meter straight run in static state,15 meter diagonal acceleration run in fast state),lower limb strength(standing long jump),and sensitivity(curve run, four line round trip run,T-type run,Illinois run). The supplementation of creatine and sodium bicarbonate can improve the reserves of creatine and phosphocreatine in the body of male college football players, buffer acidic metabolic substances in the body, balance the p H and p H of the body, slow down and eliminate fatigue. It has a positive role and important significance in improving anaerobic sports ability, promoting sports performance, and improving athletic performance. |
