As the summary of the teaching theory and practice experience of our country’s famous educator Mr.Tao Xingzhi,"the unity of teaching and doing" is a methodology of education and teaching,and an advanced concept to guide the cause of national salvation in modern Chinese education.Taking "doing" as the core,the "teaching and doing unity" mode is integrated into the course of Philosophy and Culture in senior high school,This fulfils the requirements of the new curriculum reform and is an effective way for upper secondary school philosophy and cultural studies teachers to achieve their curriculum goals and resolve the contradiction between ’teaching’ and’learning’ in the classroom.The aim of this study is to facilitate the integration of the’teaching and doing’ mode into the secondary school philosophy and culture course,combine teaching theory with practical elements,To optimise the impact of teaching and ultimately improve the quality of teaching.This promotes student development,improves teacher training,and ultimately contributes to the overall development of teachers and students.Combined with questionnaire survey and interview,this paper investigates teachers ’ideological cognition,activity Settings,classroom atmosphere,evaluation concept,reflection situation,students ’ideological cognition and classroom participation,and points out that the integration of a "teach and do" approach in secondary school philosophy and culture classes is problematic.In terms of teachers,the depth of teachers’ understanding was not enough,the design of activity space was narrow,the learning atmosphere was poor,the teaching evaluation was one-sided,and the teaching reflection was not implemented.In terms of students,students lack correct understanding,insufficient classroom participation,and weak practical ability.According to this analysis,on the one hand,it is related to teachers ’teaching concept has not changed,teaching is confined in class,less class management,not enough attention to students,teaching evaluation has not been integrated,and lack of effective teaching reflection.On the other hand,it is related to students ’poor learning attitude and lack of motivation for learning,and it is also limited by teaching conditions.Therefore,it summarizes the application and analysis of the "teaching and doing integration" mode in the high school "Philosophy and Culture" course,and puts forward new requirements for teachers from the aspects of their ideas,ability development and practical elements.In addition,it is proposed that teachers should pay attention to the integration of teaching evaluation and improve the application effect of "teaching and doing" mode.Pay attention to the reflection after class,feedback the implementation efficiency of the "teaching and doing" model.Encouraging students’ educational initiative,innovation and practical skills.
