Entering the new era,China’s demand for innovative talents is increasing,and "innovative spirit and ability" has become the main goal of talent cultivation in the 21 st century.To achieve this goal,it is necessary to vigorously cultivate students’ creative thinking.Project based learning is a learning activity in which students comprehensively use their knowledge and mobilize their thinking to complete project works.The process of completing this learning activity also points to the cultivation of creative thinking.Therefore,this study applies project based learning to information technology classroom teaching in junior high schools,and tests the effect of project based learning on cultivating creative thinking of junior high school students in practice.Firstly,this article analyzes the current research situation of project-based learning and creative thinking at home and abroad,and clarifies the purpose,significance,issues,content,and methods of this study.Secondly,this study defines the connotation of creative thinking and project-based learning,and elaborates on theories such as constructivist learning theory,learning by doing theory,and situational learning theory,laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Then,on the basis of relevant theoretical analysis,this article conducts a preliminary analysis of teaching process design,clarifies the principles of teaching process design,and designs a project-based teaching process oriented towards cultivating creative thinking.Then,it is practiced in the teaching of the Flash course of information technology in junior high schools,and finally the effectiveness of the teaching process is tested through the pre and post test scores of creative thinking,student self-evaluation results,teacher evaluation results,and interview results.Finally,the research conclusions are drawn through analyzing the data.The research results show that the "project based teaching process oriented towards cultivating creative thinking" can effectively improve the creative thinking of junior high school students,and is conducive to achieving teaching objectives and improving students’ cooperative ability and creative ability.
