The 21st century is an information age.In the "Action Plan for the Revitalization of Education Facing the 21 st Century",the Ministry of Education emphasized that the open education network and the construction of a lifelong education system are crucial.In schools,it is emphasized that the current teaching should be oriented to the background of modernization.Under the current situation,the focus of middle school mathematics teaching is to let information-based teaching go deep into the classroom.Educational informatization can promote the modernization of education.The purpose of education modernization is to make China a powerful country in education,which is also the significance of further exploring the application of distance information teaching in middle school mathematics classrooms.The purpose of this article is to investigate the application status of remote information technology teaching in middle school mathematics classrooms by consulting a large number of literature and materials on remote information technology teaching and understanding the theoretical basis and research status at home and abroad.Research methods such as questionnaire surveys,empirical research,and literature research are used to investigate the application status of remote information technology teaching in two middle schools in Yan’an,Shaanxi Province.Design a survey questionnaire for middle school mathematics teachers and middle school students in the basic education stage.By distributing a paper survey questionnaire,the questions include the current situation of mathematics teachers applying remote information technology teaching and students’ feedback on using remote information technology teaching in the classroom.Collect survey questionnaires,organize survey data,and analyze survey results.Based on the characteristics of the discipline,propose practical and feasible improvement strategies,including establishing a system related to remote information technology teaching,involving parents,and becoming the "supervisor" of students’ learning;Teachers should change their outdated concepts,and when teaching online,we should not "follow the beaten track" and research new teaching processes and methods;Students should change their attitudes towards the new classroom,focus their attention in the classroom,and adapt to remote teaching.Through research,here come to the conclusion that the overall effect of distance learning is not as good as offline teaching;Distance learning is not limited by time and space,maximizes resource utilization,and automates learning behavior,making students the "master" of the classroom;Offline teaching teachers can always pay attention to the trends of each student and grasp the rhythm of the classroom;Teachers and students agree that combining distance learning with information teaching can easily improve students’ classroom attention,concretize abstract knowledge,and maximize classroom efficiency.In future distance education work,attention should be paid to improving students’ self-control,optimizing teaching design,and closely integrating distance education and information teaching.In the future,secondary school education will inevitably develop in the direction of combining distance education with traditional teaching.
