In recent years,our country attaches great importance to the inheritance and education of traditional culture.As an important stage of life enlightenment education,early childhood education has the responsibility of carrying out traditional Chinese culture education.The promulgation of a series of relevant policy documents has clarified the mission of inheriting the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation to become preschool teachers in the new era from the national level.As an important part of traditional Chinese culture,it is of great significance to inherit traditional food culture.In the early stage,there have been few studies on Tanka food culture integrating into role play in kindergartens.Starting with the basic theoretical analysis of Tanka food culture integrating into role play in kindergartens,this study investigates the current situation of Tanka food culture integrating into role play in kindergartens through practice and analyzes related issues.This paper aims to provide theoretical and practical reference for the study on the integration of local diet culture into kindergarten games,thus promoting the inheritance of Beihai Tanka food culture,improving the quality of kindergarten games,and promoting the harmonious development of children’s body and mind.In the part of theoretical analysis,starting from the definition of relevant concepts,this study analyzes the theoretical basis for the Tanka food culture in Beihai into role play in kindergarten,the characteristics of the Tanka food culture in Beihai,and the significance of the Tanka food culture in kindergarten role play.The author also puts forward the basic requirements for integrating Beihai Tanka food culture into kindergarten role play from three aspects: cultural resource education,educational resource curriculum and gamification of curriculum implementation.In the part of practical investigation,this study mainly uses the methods of observation,interview and text analysis to investigate the positive aspects,existing problems and causes of the Tanka food culture in A kindergarten in Beihai City into the role play.Positive aspects include: educational aspects: Discovering Tanka food culture in daily life,choosing Tanka food culture based on children’s interests and needs,and choosing food culture suitable for role play;Curricularization of educational resources: Focus on comprehensiveness of curriculum objectives,rationality of curriculum approaches and determination of game activities;Gamification of curriculum implementation: The game space highlights elements of Tanka food culture in Beihai,creates a series of role play areas,enhances children’s understanding of Beihai Tanka food culture,helps children learn role assignment,provides low-structure game materials,arouses children’s interest in games,and focuses on teachers’ game guidance methods.The problems are as follows: In terms of cultural resources education,there is not enough exploration of Tanka food cultural resources in literature and excellent selection of Tanka food cultural resources;In terms of curricularization of educational resources,the content of curriculums concerning Tanka food culture in Beihai lacks integration,the structure of curriculums lacks system,and the types of game activities lack richness.In terms of gamification of curriculum implementation,children’s Tanka diet and life experience are not paid enough attention,children’s role responsibilities and behavioral cognition are not improved enough,authentic game materials are not provided enough,children’s pleasure experience is not enough,and teachers’ time for game guidance is not correct.The problems are mainly caused by teachers’ lack of knowledge about Tanka food culture resources,their lack of initiative in developing them,and their lack of ability to integrate them into role games.At the kindergarten level,the Tanka food culture in Beihai lacks the construction of resource bank,and the specialized training on integrating the Tanka food culture into character games is limited.Other educational forces are not effectively utilized.Social aspect: There is not enough sorting out the previous research results of Tanka food culture,and insufficient support for integrating Tanka food culture into kindergarten education.In the part of optimization suggestions,this study puts forward suggestions on how to integrate Beihai Tanka food culture into kindergarten role play from the aspects of teachers,kindergartens and society.First,teachers should enhance their awareness of Tanka food culture integrating into role play,strengthen their knowledge of Tanka food culture,and enhance their ability to integrate them into role games.Second,at the kindergarten level:Build up Tanka food culture education resource bank,raise awareness of Tanka Food Culture integrating into role play,strengthen special training on Tanka food culture integrating into role play,and strengthen educational collaboration between the park and the community;Thirdly,from the social aspect: strengthen the sorting of previous research results of Beihai Tanka food culture and strengthen support for its incorporation into character games.Finally,based on the research conclusion,the author analyzes "a case design example of Beihai Tanka Food Culture in kindergarten role play--taking Beihai Tanka Snack Culture as an example".This example expounds and analyzes the integration of Tanka snack culture into kindergarten role play from three aspects: the education of cultural resources,the curriculum of educational resources and the gamification of curriculum implementation.
