In July 2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Homework and Off-campus Training for Students in Compulsory Education(hereinafter referred to as the “Double Reduction”).Subsequently,many policies and regulations related to reducing the burden have been introduced throughout the country,so the research on how to reduce the burden and increase the efficiency for students is in full swing.Although the “double reduction”policy is aimed at students in the compulsory education stage,its ideas all reflect the Party and the state’s attention to the healthy growth of students’ physical and mental health and the overall development of students.Therefore,the measures to implement the “double reduction policy”should naturally extend to the high school education stage.Therefore,the basic education section realizes the close connection between the high school stage and the university stage in the comprehensive education.Nowadays,the schoolwork burden of high school students has exceeded the unbearable limit,which runs counter to the concept of all-round quality education advocated by the state,and seriously affects the sustainable development of students and the quality of university personnel training.In order to help high school students adapt to and integrate into university study and life,students can smoothly transition to university and future development,and more can send excellent high-quality talents to the country.Therefore,how to achieve the goal of reducing the burden and increasing the efficiency of senior high school students is imminent.There are many factors affecting the implementation of reducing burden and increasing efficiency,and the core factor should be the classroom teaching method.How to change the teaching method to achieve the reduction of burden and increase efficiency has become a problem worth exploring.Under this background,the author conducts in-depth research on this subject through study and personal education practice.The research content is divided into the following five parts.The first part is introduction.The research background is elaborated,including the close connection between chemistry and life,the requirements for talents in the new era and the introduction and implementation of relevant “burden reduction” policies,and the purpose,significance,content,current situation and method of this paper are determined.The second part is the research basis of applying life experience situation to teaching under the background of “reducing burden and increasing efficiency”.It includes the definition of core concepts and the basis of education theory,and analyzes the possibility of using life experience situation teaching to reduce the burden and increase the efficiency.The third part,senior high school chemistry teaching students’ homework burden and learning status analysis.By using the questionnaire star,210 high school students in Yan’ an Experimental Middle School were surveyed.The results show that the students’ schoolwork burden is too heavy,which is not conducive to their all-round development.The improper teaching method of teachers and the separation of teaching from the reality of life lead to the low learning efficiency of students.The fourth part is to develop teaching strategies.The author obtains the teaching standards for reducing burden and increasing efficiency through extensive literature review and in-depth thinking.Guided by these teaching standards and based on students’ course load and learning status,the author puts forward the teaching strategies for reducing burden and increasing efficiency in high school chemistry teaching.The fifth part is the application of life experience situation in teaching practice.The proposed teaching strategy is applied to teaching design to develop teaching practice.In order to prove that the teaching through life experience situation can effectively improve the learning efficiency of students and help students reduce the burden and increase the efficiency.Two evaluation methods,questionnaire survey and paper-and-pencil test,were used to evaluate the experimental results.On the one hand,to understand students’ acceptance of life experience situation teaching and the effect of life experience situation teaching on students’ learning;On the other hand,SPSS Excel and Statistics 26 were used to process the data,and the effect of teaching through life experience situation on students’ academic performance was analyzed.This study draws the following conclusions.(1)Through the investigation of the class load and teaching status of high school students,it is found that the heavy class load of students is not conducive to their all-round development,and it is divorced from the actual teaching in life,resulting in low learning efficiency of students.(2)Teachers create life experience situations for teaching,which can effectively reduce students’ cognitive burden,optimize students’ learning methods,cultivate students to form good learning habits,and ultimately improve their learning efficiency.(3)The use of life experience in teaching helps to improve students’ academic performance.(4)“Reducing burden and increasing efficiency” conforms to the development trend of The Times.In this context,the use of life experience in teaching can effectively improve students’ comprehensive quality,help them adapt to and integrate into university life,and smoothly transition to university and future development.(5)This study can provide some reference value for teachers in the teaching field.
