This study investigates the application of the "Little Teacher System" in the teaching of handcrafts in preschool education.It was found that the "Little Teacher System" can effectively improve students’ self-care and hands-on abilities,as well as foster teamwork and confidence.In this study,the "Little Teacher System" refers to dividing the handcraft class into "Little Teachers" and "Little Students",where the former instruct the latter to complete their handcraft projects.Through this approach,students can enhance their skills while helping and learning from each other,better understanding and mastering handcraft techniques.This paper details the specific implementation methods of the "Little Teacher System" and evaluates its effectiveness.First,it is necessary to identify the "Little Teachers" in each class and provide them with training to ensure they possess enough skills and knowledge to guide their classmates.Second,before each class,tasks should be assigned to each student,and these tasks should be distributed among the "Little Teachers".The "Little Teachers" then need to teach their peers and assist them in completing the tasks.Finally,performance evaluation and feedback should be provided for each student.Prior to the implementation of the "Little Teacher System",students often had problems such as not knowing how to start or operate their handcraft projects.However,after the system was implemented,students could better understand and master handcraft techniques with the guidance and help of their "Little Teachers".Additionally,the "Little Teacher System" helps to cultivate teamwork and confidence in children.During the implementation process,children need to collaborate and learn from each other,which helps to foster teamwork.Meanwhile,"Little Teachers" also gain a sense of accomplishment and confidence from guiding their peers.In conclusion,the "Little Teacher System" is an effective teaching method that can improve young children’s self-care and hands-on abilities while fostering teamwork and confidence.Future research can further explore the application of the "Little Teacher System" in other educational fields and optimize and improve the implementation methods of the system to better meet the needs of different educational fields.
