At the beginning of the last century,kindergarten was adopted as a form of mixedage education based on the scale of kindergarten,the size of teachers and the number of children enrolled in school to solve the problem of emergency education.At present,the development of mixed-age education plays an irreplaceable role in children’s learning and growth.It is of great significance and value to carry out mixed-age education activities in kindergarten education.At the same time,under the background that the country vigorously promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture,it is very necessary for traditional handicraft activities to be carried out in kindergartens,which can promote children to better understand the excellent traditional national handicraft and improve the ability to discover beauty.Traditional handicraft activities basically include the same age and mixed age.The difference between mixed age activities and the same age activities is that the organization form of children’s activities is inconsistent.The same age activities refer to the common activities of children of the same age or the same class.Children of different ages(3-6 years old)work together in the same area under the guidance of teachers.The researchers choose kindergartens with mixed-age activities in regional activities of traditional handicrafts as sample objects.The paper adopts literature analysis,case analysis,interview,observation and other research methods.The present situation of the activity is studied,and the teachers observe the problems.According to the problems,the countermeasures to carry out mixed-age activities in traditional handicraft activity areas are further explored.Teachers’ cognition of traditional handicraft activities and mixedage activities is strengthened,and children’s hands-on ability of traditional handicraft activities is improved,which greatly improves the quality of mixed-age activities.In this study,the activities of three kindergartens in Jinan are taken as the research object.All kindergartens carry out the same type of traditional handicraft activities in the state of mixed-age activities.The author uses observation method and interview method to understand the material delivery,teacher guidance,activity space and site planning,and environment creation status of mixed-age activities in traditional handicraft activities.In the process of carrying out the mixed age activity in the traditional handicraft activity area,the existing problems are analyzed layer by layer.Such as: the scientific planning of activity space,the principles of traditional handicraft materials,children’s choice of materials,teachers’ professionalism,the appropriate degree of teacher guidance and the evaluation of many aspects of the activity.It provides ideas for the development of mixed age activities in the traditional handicraft activity area.To a certain extent,it is helpful for teachers to understand the current status and existing problems of traditional handicraft activities in kindergartens.This study is expected to provide experience and strategies for the development of mixed-age activities in kindergartens,and promote the implementation and development of mixed-age activities in kindergarten education of traditional handicraft activities.
