Historical material verification refers to the attitude and method of obtaining credible historical data through strict verification and making efforts to reproduce historical reality based on this.How to cultivate students’ ability to collect,analyze,and use historical materials to obtain correct understanding is an issue that needs to be studied in high school history teaching.Shandong’s local historical resources have the characteristics of richness,diversity,and practicality,which are in line with the cognitive development level of high school students.Therefore,this paper attempts to cultivate students’ historical material verification literacy by effectively integrating Shandong’s local historical resources into high school history teaching.The paper is divided into four parts.In the first part,the author divides Shandong’s local historical resources into two types: textual materials and physical materials,and briefly introduces the local history of Shandong from the perspectives of political civilization,economic and social development,and traditional culture.It also explains the close relationship between the compiled high school history textbook and Shandong’s local history in the form of a table.In the second part,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the application status of using Shandong’s local historical resources to cultivate students’ historical material verification literacy in high school history teaching.The survey data analyzed the problems of students’ limited opportunities to learn about local history and their inadequate historical verification skills.In the third part,the feasibility of using Shandong’s local historical resources to cultivate students’ historical material verification literacy is discussed,and specific methods for using these resources to achieve this goal are proposed.In the fourth part,historical scenarios are created using Shandong’s local historical resources to cultivate students’ historical material verification literacy in actual teaching.
