| At present,the development of education in the world presents a trend of life-long education.The report to the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out that we should "build a learning society and a learning country with lifelong learning for all people." Our country advocates young people to improve the quality of "willing to learn and good at learning".The "Core Literacy of Chinese Students’ Development" clearly points out that "learning to learn" is one of the core literacy necessary for students.Learning engagement is a full and positive psychological and spiritual state produced in the learning process,which not only reflects the learning effect and learning quality of students,but also has an important impact on individual development.How to effectively improve the learning engagement of middle school students is one of the key research issues in school mental health education.Studies have shown that academic self-efficacy,as an individual’s belief and feeling of ability in specific fields,has an important impact on learning engagement.The sense of meaning in life is an individual’s overall feeling of consistency,consistency and importance.Individuals can understand the goal and mission of life,and obtain experience and satisfaction in the process of finding and working for it.For high school students who are in the critical period of self-consciousness development,this holistic understanding of life can also become an important dynamic variable of learning engagement.Therefore,this study on the basis of previous studies,further explore the academic self-efficacy,meaning of life and learning into the relationship between the three positive variables,examining the meaning of life in high school academic self-efficacy in the influence of learning investment,and design group counseling scheme to investigate the meaning of the meaning of high school students learning investment.In Study 1,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1309 senior high school students from two middle schools in Fujian Province to investigate the current status and relationship among academic self-efficacy,meaning in life,and learning engagement.Results were as follows:(1)The academic self-efficacy,meaning in life and learning engagement of senior high school students are generally above the middle level.(2)In terms of gender variables,there were significant differences in academic self-efficacy and learning ability self-efficacy among senior high school students,and the scores of male students were significantly higher than those of female students.There were also gender differences in the factor of seeking meaning among senior high school students,and the scores of female students were significantly higher than those of male students.(3)In terms of grade variables,there are significant differences in learning engagement and motivation factors among senior high school students.The total score of learning engagement of senior high school students is significantly higher than that of senior high school students,and the score of motivation factor of senior high school students is significantly higher than that of senior high school students.(4)There was a significant positive correlation between academic self-efficacy,meaning in life and learning engagement.(5)Academic self-efficacy can positively predict meaning in life and learning engagement.Meaning in life can positively predict learning engagement.(6)Meaning in life played a partial mediating role in the relationship between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement of senior high school students.In Study 2,the experimental group and the control group were designed to test the intervention effect of group psychological counseling on sense of meaning in life.On the basis of the investigation of Study 1,based on the principle of voluntary participation,40 senior high school students with the bottom 20% of the score of meaning in life were recruited as the research objects,and were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 20 people in each group.The experimental group used the film therapy group counseling as the intervention method,while the control group did not apply any intervention.A follow-up survey was conducted three months after the intervention to explore the effectiveness and sustainability of the intervention program.The findings are as follows:(1)The film therapy group counseling with the theme of meaning in life has a significant effect on the improvement of the sense of meaning in life of senior high school students,and the level of learning engagement of senior high school students is significantly improved.(2)The group counseling intervention program can effectively improve the sense of meaning in life and learning engagement of senior high school students,and has a good sustained effect. |
