A Study On The Situation Of College Students' Learning Value, Academic Self-efficacy, Learning Engagement And The Relation Between Them

In order to study college students'learning psychology further, we use methods of literature -analysis, interview and open-ended questionnaire to form College Students' Learning Value Questionnaire and College Students'Learning Engagement Questionnaire. Using these two questionnaires and Academic Self-efficacy Questionnaire to survey the contition of college students'learning value, academic self-efficacy and learning engagement, also the relation of these three variation. Conclusions were as follows:(1)College students'learning value is a multimensional constrution, consisting of personal development, utilitarian and responsibilty. College students'learning engagement contains three factors of behaviroal engagement, cognitive engagement and emotional engagement.(2)The reliability and validity of Questionnaire of College Students'Learning Value and Questionnaire of College Students' Learning Engagement achieve the psychometric criterion, which can be applied in the future research.(3)In general, college students' learning value is in higher level. Academic self-efficacy and learning engagement of college students are in considerable level.(4)College students believe that the importance of factors of learning value from high to low are personal development, utilitarian and responsibilty. The level of college students'learning engagement from high to low are behaviroal engagement, cognitive engagement and emotional engagement.(5)The outcome of difference test of college students'learning value, academic self-efficacy and learning engagement in demography variations as follows:There is obvious difference of college students'learning value in grade and speciality. Learning value decrease gradually as grade increase. The medical students'learning value is highest; There is no obvious difference of college students'academic self-efficacy in demography variations; There is obvious difference of college students' learning engagement in gender, single one or not, home source and speciality, girls'better than boys', students come from rural better than students come from city and town, medical students better than students of arts and science. (6)Regression Analysis shows that, both college students'learning value and academic self-efficacy have direct fluence on learning engagement, they have obvious prediction on learning engagement.
