This study developed a mathematical curriculum ideological and political model through literature review and expert review.A survey questionnaire was developed based on this model,and through a pre test questionnaire survey,it was found that students had poor understanding of socialist core values and mathematical values.Based on teacher interviews and observations of classroom teaching,it is analysis shows that teachers have weak ideological and political awareness,and their educational philosophy needs to be improved;Students have weak practical awareness and low classroom participation;There are three issues with a single teaching organization form and the need to improve the ideological and political evaluation mechanism of the curriculum.Based on the problems in ideological and political education in mathematics courses,the following teaching strategies are proposed:(1)Teachers should establish the concept of ideological and political education and enhance the general literacy of the subject;(2)Teaching should update problem situations in a timely manner and create a good classroom atmosphere;(3)Teachers should cultivate students’ collectivist spirit,and students should strengthen self-education;(4)Students should master the method of combining numbers and shapes,and comprehend the ideas of mathematical models;(5)Teachers and students cultivate emotions through interaction,and classroom teaching reflects moral education;(6)The evaluation of ideological and political education in courses should be innovative and an effective feedback mechanism should be established.On this basis,the teaching practice of ideological and political theories teaching in mathematics course is carried out with the example of linear function published by Beijing Normal University.In the process of teaching practice,it is found that students’ interest in learning has increased through the combination of current events,mathematical history,and other materials.Through the learning of mathematical knowledge and the mastery of mathematical thinking methods,students have been guided to enhance their understanding of socialist core values and mathematical values.Based on Professor Zhu Xiaoman’s "Emotional Communication" classroom observation guide,classroom observation found that teachers organized student group discussions and actively interacted with students,resulting in increased student learning initiative and significantly improved emotional communication between teachers and students.Finally,through the analysis of the post-teaching questionnaire,it is found that students’ understanding of socialist core values and mathematical values has some improvement,explain that the strategies of ideological and political theories teaching in Mathematics courses proposed in this article have certain guiding significance,and also demonstrate that ideological and political theories teaching in mathematics courses can effectively cultivate students’ good values and implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people.
